Replying to: nkucwm (Nov 05, 2008 9:10 am) the new cars i've purchased generally had very low mileage (< 50) on them, including the mileage for my test drive. i do'nt think the car's storage time in the parking lot should matter that much on a new car..but perhaps that, along with excessive mileage should provide you with a little bit of bargaining power.

Went to a lowest quote dealership today. Internet negotiation OTD price $24000. Saleman was not bad and pointed out that there was a protection package (all weather pad, etc) installed and asked for $450 value and gave us 50% off. We offered $ 23700 with protection pkg for OTD price. Back and forth with internet manager and general manager a couple of times. No deal. What do you guys think? Maybe we pushed dealer too much.
