Santarev1,

I hope you find a good deal in Philly. Update us when you take the plunge.

In regards to comments about the 2008 CR-Vs should be discounted more... I do agree with you for the most part, especially during our current economic outlook.

HOWEVER, while searching the inventory of the dealers around Chicago, most of them only had 1 or 2 Glacier Blue EXL AWD W/O Navi left in stock. Some were already sold out. Because of that, I did not wait for a better offer.

Anyhow, if your model and color options are open, then wait for a better deal. But if you want something specific, then I wouldn't wait too long, especially if the color you want is a popular color. Just my two cents... for whatever it is worth. Good luck to everyone!

It happens every year with Honda. As they supply begins to weaken, selection gets worse and the prices begin to pick back up. It's the basic laws of supply and demand at work

the new cars i've purchased generally had very low mileage (< 50) on them, including the mileage for my test drive. i do'nt think the car's storage time in the parking lot should matter that much on a new car..but perhaps that, along with excessive mileage should provide you with a little bit of bargaining power.

That should be a good price if the car has got Nav feature. Other wise I was offered Honda CRV AWD EX-L for $25,958 with Nav.

I am working a price now for both the 2008 and 2009 EX AWD. I will post when my offer on either one is accepted using a very aggressive price: $22,850 for the '09 and $21,800 for the '08. That includes the $670 destination.

Regards,
OW
