Replying to: kyfdx (Sep 09, 2008 6:41 am) I currently lease through AHFC... and the new CR-V will be the same AHFC. Thank you so much kydfx for the reply (and peace of mind, despite me breaking the cardinal rule when bargaining for leases). I'll be sure to keep an eye on the paperwork to ensure they're buying out my lease and not pulling the funny business. One more question: do I still need to know the money factor/resid/invoice of the 2009 to solidify this deal and pull the trigger? Or should I sign before they change something on me?

All things being equal (term, mileage allowance, money due at signing), then the most important number is the payment!! I'm sure used Civics are valuable... But, your Civic has $1000 of damage and you are going over your allotted mileage. The dealer may make money on the vehicle, but I doubt you could. Not only that, your car is now out of warranty. That's a $28K vehicle.. A lease payment of $330/mo. for 3yr/45K including tax is a great deal. CR-Vs aren't famous for having good lease deals, and this is one of the best I've seen.. I don't know the current MF/residuals for the CRV, but I know there aren't any screaming lease deals, or we would see posts everywhere about them.. Be glad to get rid of that Civic, and be happy that you've locked in a decent payment for the next three years on a pretty nice car!! regards, kyfdx

Planning on Purchasing this vehicle this week. Ask for OTD Pricing from dealer with roofrack option, this was what I was quoted: 21,196 Sale Prices 119 Service Fee 1,193.64 WI Taxes 93.00 State transfer fees Total 22,601.64 I want to make sure I am educated on pricing when going in to discuss. Any feedback on whether this is in range with fair pricing? How much better can I do? Thanks!!! |
