igrek2000, in regards to the EX - the invoice price should be about $22000 including destination (or $21330 + destination) so it's a real good price if it includes destination and a not so great price if it doesn't include destination. If it does not include destination I'd try to get them to go down to $22150 and maybe get them to throw in a couple extras (door edge guards, trunk tray, whatever). But either way - you are in a decent ballpark - you certainly would not be getting gouged like some people that don't know about Edmunds would.

I think $22,600 is a fair price. My OTD price was close to MSRP including D & H charges.

MSRP Price: $22,570 (2008 Honda CR-V LX All-wheel Drive)

What are these going for in the midwest? Is $25700 a fair price?
Would get $2200 for a trade in on a '00 Interepid with 125000 miles.
In the end, would trade for $23500. Is this a good deal?

WOW...$25700 out the door is a great price!. I got mines....2008 Honda CR-V 4WD EX-L Glacier Blue for $27,365 OTD. With the gas prices so HIGH, CRVs should continue to drop in price.

Hi All,

Just want to tell everyone that I will be buying my 2nd 2008 CRV EX AWD balck/black at Sports Honda since my first 2008 CRV got totalled in a major car accident. No one can beat Sports Honda's price. I have the receipt to prove the OTD price. Sorry can't tell anyone here my OTD price because Sports Honda may not make any money. To all people in Washinton DC metro Area, please do not waste your time at Herson's Honda, College Park Honda, and Jim Coleman of Clarksville, MD.

Criswell Honda is the 2nd best because they have the 2nd OTD lowest price. Sports and Criswell Honda are willing to lower their price - below invoice because:

- WE ARE IN RECESSION
- GAS PRICES ARE HIGH
- SUVs are not selling well.

Dealers shoud be aggressive in lowering their prices. Keep patience and do a lot of research like reading forums of what people paid for their CRV.
Good Luck and God Bless.

Consider writing a report in Dealer Ratings and Reviews.

Listing the "out the door" price confuses things because different states and areas within states have different taxes, doc fees, etc., which makes pricing very difficult to compare. Please be more specific about the purchase, especially the base vehicle price achieved and options/accessories, as well as doc fees, which are often another profit item for the dealer. Also, please note whether there was trade-in involved. A trade-in makes it almost impossible to compare pricing.
