Hello Folks,

Till these days i was watching all the postings. After analyzing the price quoted in this forum and checking back and forth with the dealers, i finally bought 2008 CR-V EX AWD yesterday. Thanks to Edmunds and thanks to everyone in this group.

I bought it in Penn state. Details are as follows.

OTD Price : $23094(including destination fee) + Tax ( 6% PA Tax) + Tag fee , Registration fee , Doc fee ( $165) = $24643 ( Total-OTD)

I hope the deal is pretty decent and not over paid. I know still i could have got a better deal.

Dealer details:
Piazza Honda of Reading
915 Lancaster Ave
Reading, PA 19607

Thanks again.

Congrats Vash! That's sounds like a great deal to me and would definitley be happy with that price, for what you got. I am wanting to pay around that also, except I will be hit with a whopping 8.25% sales tax, compared to your 6%.

If I may ask, what APR did you get? And how long of a term is that for?

On Saturday March the 8th, I bought a CRV, EX, AWD for $24,500.00 out the door. Included taxes and registration in California at a Northern California Dealer. Crown Motors in Redding. They said it was $500.00 cheaper than the Cost Co discount and below invoice. I don't know about all that, but I can tell you that the two other dealers I spoke to, one in Yreka and in Medford, said they would match that price but refused to beat it. They were running a sale this month and wanted to move a lot of cars. Good luck and happy shoping. I love my new CRV

That sounds like an extremely good deal. Dealer invoice on that vehicle is $23,091. I'm guessing your sales tax and registration had to be more than $1500 so you got it below invoice. Sounds like Northern California is a great place to buy a CR-V.

Best Price for CR-V EX-L w/NAV in DC Area by 2ndguess

I'm going to pull the trigger tonight I think. Lowest quote I have from multiple dealers in the DC area for the EX-L w/Nav is $27,250 plus taxes and tags but including delivery and processing. That looks to be a decent price based on what I've seen on this board although it's clearly not the lowest. I'd like to get below 27k but I can't seem to get anyone around here to go lower at this point. Any reason to think I should be able to do better than where I'm at now?

Just got a quote for 2008 4WD EX-L without Nav for about 25400 (Destination included) in north NJ area. Woner what is the invoice price and whether this price is good enough.
If anyone found a better price in northeast area, please let me know.
Thanks!

Dealer invoice on 4WD EX-L is $25,456 including dest. If they have immediate availability in the color you want, I'd go for it.

Take it from one who's been looking on long island....if you got a firm quote on a AWD EX-L for 25400, RUN to the dealer and take it!

Great. I got my EX-L as well for Invoice Price at Denville. Did it thru the internet quote and lucky for me they had the Red/Gray color in stock. that had arrived just the day before. Pretty painless purchase. They were just trying to see if I wanted to take gap insurance etc, but no pushing. Overall a great experience. and i love the car so far

I'll probably look up BernardiParts as well, since I was rather disappointed that the CR-V didn't come with side molding, and the dealer was charging $250+waiting time for that to be ordered/delivered. Did you do the install yourself or did you have it installed? thanks again
