Dealer was offering me invoice price 23092 + 7% NJ tax + Doc & Tire Fee (206.5) + Registration Fee (234$) About 4-5 days ago I walked out on the deal putting an offer of 22K + + 7% NJ tax + Doc & Tire Fee (206.5) + Registration Fee (234$) They said they can do something like 22.5K + + 7% NJ tax + Doc & Tire Fee (206.5) + Registration Fee (234$) I declined it. Then I visited Mawah Honda, TerryTown Honda, Nanuet Honda, Jersey City Honda, Clifton Honda...... ALl of them said deal is too good to be true and I should buy from them if they really offer me that. All them said max they can do is Invoice or 100$ over invoice. No other accessories etc So i decided to buy at 22.5K + + 7% NJ tax + Doc & Tire Fee (206.5) + Registration Fee (234$) When i went to the dealer they backed out. They said best they can do is 22.9K + 7% NJ tax + Doc & Tire Fee (206.5) + Registration Fee (234$) Since I was running rental car for almost a week and i have some other family issue, I didn't get chance to bargin much then. I took the deal. Its 200$ under invoice. Worst part is dealership was offering some Internet special like free key replacement etc. They declined to honor that. My total was 24940$ for 2008 Honda CR-V EX AWD. My bad... but thats ok. I am suppose to buy another car in next 3-4 months. I think I will do better shopping. Sales person and business manager were good. However Sales Manager "Moe" in paramus dealership was very rude, dishonest. I hope this helps. Please let me know if its a good deal or not so I can be careful for my next purchase.

I've seen where other buyers of different manufacturers have purchased a vehicle at a price significantly below invoice by shopping at a distant dealer and then paying to have the vehicle trucked to the buyer's home. After paying for the trucking, the savings have amounted to at least $1,000. Has anyone had that experience or has a really low price that makes this option attractive for me? Another option posted on this website involves buying through Costco or Sam's Clujb. If you know of these options for Honda, please share the pros and cons of each possibility. The final experience posted here has to do with the success and failure of cooperative/competent dealer service after purchase and after warranty. Please let us know of your experience if you are not a dealer or an employee of one. With the expense of buying a vehicle so high and the quality of the results so varied, this website is especially important to the consumer. I thank all buyers who share with us their experiences of dealer names and prices.

The quotes I' ve been getting is 2WD $24,600 to 25,400 and AWD $25,600 to 26,800 otd which doesn't motivate me to even go there to try offering in person.

I was offered a OTD price of 27.231.44 for a CRV EXL 2WD w/o navi. The price includes 100 over invoice, plus destination fee, plus pro package, plus other fees and taxes. Is this a good deal?

So guess I won't get my CR-V until May or June. Try Bernardi. On certain items their prices are better than HandA. Enjoy. I am patiently/excitedly waiting to get mine.
