Hi all! I've been shopping for a 2008 CRV EX 2WD and was thinking about offering $22,800 otd but been reading the past 10 pages seeing that would have been too much. Got a dealer nearby trying to sell me an EX AWD for $23,000 since they didn't have 2WD EX . I was thinking that was a great deal until I saw $21,395 OTD for EX AWD. Anyone got any clue on where the deals are? After stumbling on to this board I'm thinking of offering: EX 2WD = $21,000 otd EX AWD = $21,500 otd Any help is very appreciated!

Replying to: trinity3 (Feb 20, 2008 7:18 pm) I bought Honda CR-V EX AWD from Paramus, NJ on Feb 20, 2008. Dealer was offering me invoice price 23092 + 7% NJ tax + Doc & Tire Fee (206.5) + Registration Fee (234$) About 4-5 days ago I walked out on the deal putting an offer of 22K + + 7% NJ tax + Doc & Tire Fee (206.5) + Registration Fee (234$) They said they can do something like 22.5K + + 7% NJ tax + Doc & Tire Fee (206.5) + Registration Fee (234$) I declined it. Then I visited Mawah Honda, TerryTown Honda, Nanuet Honda, Jersey City Honda, Clifton Honda...... ALl of them said deal is too good to be true and I should buy from them if they really offer me that. All them said max they can do is Invoice or 100$ over invoice. No other accessories etc So i decided to buy at 22.5K + + 7% NJ tax + Doc & Tire Fee (206.5) + Registration Fee (234$) When i went to the dealer they backed out. They said best they can do is 22.9K + 7% NJ tax + Doc & Tire Fee (206.5) + Registration Fee (234$) Since I was running rental car for almost a week and i have some other family issue, I didn't get chance to bargin much then. I took the deal. Its 200$ under invoice. Worst part is dealership was offering some Internet special like free key replacement etc. They declined to honor that. My total was 24940$ for 2008 Honda CR-V EX AWD. My bad... but thats ok. I am suppose to buy another car in next 3-4 months. I think I will do better shopping. Sales person and business manager were good. However Sales Manager "Moe" in paramus dealership was very rude, dishonest. I hope this helps. Please let me know if its a good deal or not so I can be careful for my next purchase.
