Hi, I'm in NJ and sho pping around for the 2008 CRV 4WD LX.
The best so far is $21100 (destination included) without tax or doc fee. Is it a good deal? or I should do better?
Anyone can recommend a dealer in Northern NJ area with a reasonable price and easy to dealing with?
Thx!

I think that is a pretty good deal. I purchased a 2008 CRV LX AWD in November for Invoice of $20,370 + Destination $635 = $21,005. The document fee was $199 additional. That was the best price after a few rounds of emailing a number NY/NJ dealers. The dealer is in Paramus, he was reasonable without high pressure.

Lowest quote I got so far is $21,235 plus about $400 in registration etc. (for any color, no other options). Any chance I can lower that?

After seriously considering a Hyundai Santa Fe, many owners in my area were very disappointed in service and warranty work.

So I've decided to research a Honda CRV 2008 which has a much better reliability rating.

Some of you say that you have received very good offers for free lifetime warranty on drive train and engine from your dealers. Please tell me how the dealer guaranteed this for you. Thanks very much.

No AWD Navi in Texas by txdon

I've contacted a lot of dealers in and around Central Texas and Houston. They all want a deposit for me to wait for the slow boat from Japan. I guess I'll have to look somewhere where the snow falls. Anyone else having problems in Texas? By the way the best "deals" have ranged from retail list to $500 off retail list.
Thanks, waiting patiently in Texas.

Yeah, the 4WD models are hard to come by in Central Tx and not much of a price break on the CRV's here.

2008 CR-V AWD EX LX in Maryland by raffpee1

Hi,
I'm about to purchase a new CR-V EX AWD Auto Black on Black at Criswell Honda. When I started here at edmunds.com I wanted a CR-V AWD LX Auto black. Quotes came in from College Park Honda, Jim Coleman Honda, and Sports Honda. I called Criswell Honda since we bought our new 2002 CR-V LX AWD from them. The remaining player is Criswell Honda. College Park Honda is the worst - not willing to negotiate - selling MSRP. Sports Honda is very slow in response. Jim Coleman aggressive but disappointed when I met with the Internet Dealer - CRV Accessorized and not willing to take them off. I asked for bare - NO options nor accessories. Walk out the door. Criswell via phone beat (#6709) hockeyfool's $22,200 by $200 ($22,000 destiantion fee included). Thanks hockeyfool for the posting here. I am to see Criswell today and will see if they honor their words.

When I mentioned above theat I started with the LX AWD, Criswell via phone quoted a $19,800 for the car only (+destination (635) +tags/Title($237), 6% MD Tax, and $100 Processing). You do the math.

Is anyone out there that has a better price for CR-V EX AWD auto in the Washington DC metwor area?

I want to recall my message earlier about Criswell being the best dealer. After speaking to sales rep Nasser (internet sales), manager, earl is DENIYING such price of $22,000 including freight. Honda buyers BEWARE. My next posting is when I have the car out the dealership. Stay tuned......

OK. I went to Sport Honda in Silver Spring, MD and went home with a new CR-V EX AWD auto Black on Ivory. I got a great deal and I highly recommend Sport Honda in Silver Spring (3101 Automobile Blvd). There were too many customers buying new automobiles - every sales rep were occupied. ATTENTTION all sales rep and customers- Sport Honda is the place to be. My sales rep, Alex Chan, was dealing with 2 customers at the same time and saw them leave with new vehicles. General Manager, Mike Freedman, was very helpful. Not only he gave me a great deal, he help put on my tags. Sorry people, I cannot provide you the actual out the door price but I know Sport Honda is the best compare to Criswell, Jim Coleman, College Park Honda, and Ourisman Honda in Bethesda. Sport Honda does not install any accessories that you do not want. Unless you want specific accesories on them and they can install them prior to purchase. Other dealers have accesories on their vehicles because it another way of forcing you to pay for them. You cannot have a dealer take off any installed accesories because "it's hard to take them out" one dealer says. Another dealer says "labor cost". For people who are handy, I suggest to but the genuine honda accesories over the Internet. Amen.
