Hey guys--quick update--Okay, I am going to be able to get the ex for 22k. But here's the deal---I am only getting it for this price b/c all that dealership has is green in the ex. Salesmen from various dealerships have told me that they get very few of the black in ex--WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? So, I can either settle for a color I am not so hot on and hope I learn to love it or I can go in all the way and get the EX-L, which will cost me 25,996 ttl......Thoughts...anyone?

Just bought a 2007 CRV-EX AWD last week in san jose, ca for 22850.
Was just wondering if I got fair price. Not losing sleep over whether i could've gotten a better deal, just curious. Drives great.

The good news is you just bought a great vehicle. The bad news is you paid too much. You paid about $600 more than I paid for my 2008 EX AWD ($22,200 includes destination).

You should have been able to do much better especially since it is a 2007.

2008 CRV EX AWD in PA by unidrumer

Picked up a Glacier Blue EX AWD for my wife on Friday. Thanks to everyone who has been posting here, it was very helpful in our search.
Here's our info:
Started out by getting quotes from 15 dealers in the in Eastern PA area. They varied between $23,400 and $24,985 (including dest.). Yes, there are dealers out there trying to get OVER sticker. Most common reason given was that it was a hard to find color and they would have to do a dealer trade. Anyway, I called them all back and gave them the opportunity to beat my best price. Repeated process to eliminate those not willing to play. That got me to 3 salesmen ready to go to $23,200. Ended up going to the dealer that is between my wife’s work and our home because they seemed less shady that the other two. Incidentally, they would have gone to $23,100 for any other color but black or the blue we were looking for. Had at least one of every other color on the lot, lots of EXLs, not one FWD in LX EX or EXL trim. Deal went down on 1/30/08, so we had to wait for a dealer trade or till they got it in. Worked out that they had one come in on the truck on 2/4, but we couldn’t make it back to pick up until 2/8.
$23,200 price paid
$1,392 PA sales tax
$175.15 tags and doc fees

$24,767.15 out the door

The dealer also threw in wheel locks as a gift – already installed. Other “extras” from the dealer – lifetime inspections, free loaner car for all service, engine guarantee for as long as we own the car and free tires for as long as we own the car.

Yes, it is a fantastic vehicle. At end of November 2007, I paid $22246.00 for 2008 CRV EX AWD from one of the Massachusetts Honda dealers.

We have a Toyota down here who advertises a free lifetime drivetrain warranty, seems like your dealer gave you one on the engine. I was wondering how the paperwork reflects this. Did your Honda dealership provide a written warranty, and if so is the contract with the dealership directly or a 3rd party....and what is the deductible?

I am in the market for a new CR-V 4WD EX-L, what should I expect to pay in the Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus area? Also, what kind of financing options should I expect?

Thanks.

kenneth813, to answer your questions in post #6703. the person who posted just after you was right, the reason your headlights are always on at a dimmer level is you DRL. and it is not a "problem" they are supposed to be on. as for your lack of storage bin under your seat... come see me, I'll trade you my bin for whats under your seat. You have an upgraded radio, that is your subwoofer. I hope nobody told you there was a storage bin under there in your EX-L.

I thought Honda made a mistake when they build my car because I check the brochure and Honda web site, they all showing EX-L has a under seat storage bin. I prefer the subwoofer rather than the bin even though it is a good place for the map. Thank you for your information.
