I purchased a 2007 AWD EX-L w/navi last weekend from the good folks at Klein Honda in Everett, WA (near Seattle). I paid $200 under MSRP + accessories. I used my 2005 CR-V as a trade and received about $700 more than I was offered at another dealership. Up here, the navi models are few and far between and the dealers are not "dealing" - they don't have to. I have been looking at mid sized SUV's for the past 3 months. I drove the RX 350, MDX, RDX, LR2, Acadia, Lincoln, Cadillac, CX-7, CX-9, Murano, FX35 and Saturn Vue. Of all of these, the MDX was my favorite. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $44,000 on a car, regardless of how nice it was. So I decided to purchase the new CR-V and feel pretty good about saving $14,000. It is much improved over the last generation and the navigation is much more intuitive than the Acura SUVs. All in all, a great little vehicle that is also fun to drive.

Hi all. I really like the new body style of the CR-V. I am planning to buy one for my sister but after reading all these posts about oil leak, i am kind of hesitate. Does this problem happen on all CRVs? what do you guys think of the tranmission when driving it? thank you for your help

Dealership offered $24,200 Out The Door and ended up paying $24,100 OTD for 2007 CR-V EX FWD. extended the warranty to 5 yrs; 100,000 miles to match our driving style. i am fine with the deal and happy with the car so far. we went shopping intending to buy the LX but felt the extra $ was worth what was included on the EX. note: we bought on last day of the month not on purpose but turned out to be in our advantage since they want to meet monthly quotas. not sure if that's a myth or not. ps: the buying experience hasn't changed much... still a haggling game. we walked at first when they would not give us a price. they later called my cell on my way home with an offer. |
