Sounds like a good deal unless your dealer has a high dollar processing fee to add in?? I called all over VA, NC, and MD. and settled on a 2007 CR-V EX-L 4WD as listed in my post #5093. However I did get a quote for a CR-V EX 4WD cloth from Heritage Honda for $23,339 including destination plus a $99 processing fee for a total of $23,438. So your deal sounds like a winner unless your dealer has a high processing fee that you don't know about yet. I tried about 20 Honda dealers in my tri-state area and they would not discuss $23,438. Go for it and good luck!

Honda CR-V EX-L - 160 hp 2.3L 4cyl by speedyk9

Does anyone driving one of the new CRVs have an opinion on the engine power provided. At 160 hp, don't know if it compares to our Accord EX-L V-6 at 240 hp?

I got my CRV EX 4WD with all season floor mats for 23,226.12 + Taxes(1333)+TL&doc fee (395)=25000$ OTD. If you have a much lesser doc fee, you have a pretty good deal. Even otherwise you are probably off by 100-200$ from a great price. Hope this helps

It is not a pocket rocket, but the 166hp is adequate for passing and merging in the freeway IMHO. Hope this helps

I agree that the hp is good. Altho I am selfish and would have loved a V6 like maybe the Rav has. But the acceleration is almost comparable to my pretty old V6 caravan. I just make sure I give myself a little more space to accelerate until I get accustomed to the feel and speed of this car. But it does have some kick to it, so don't let that deter you.

Thanks for the replies tjx and guru_g. The doc fee from all dealers is $58.48 and I'll be paying 6.5% in taxes. If I can get them to throw in all season floor mats I'll be a very happy camper.

Now I just gotta sell the OLD car...

CR-V with stick (Gen 2.5 CR-V has the same drive train as Gen 3) is faster than V6 powered Ford Escape (auto only) and close to Accord V6 Auto.

I don't drive auto, so, don't know how fast it feels.

2007 CRV EX $22,500 by kandyr

What do you all think of purchasing a 2007 CRV EX for $22,500...it has 185 miles. I was told this mileage incurred by driving from Pine Bluff, AR to Monroe, LA. Is this considered 'new'. This will be the first NEW car I've purchased in a long, long time and I am wanting to purchase a CRV this weekend. Please let me hear from someone. Thanks so much.

I'm no expert but if the car is a 2007, is in perfect physical and mechanical condition and has a full warranty on it, I'd jump at that chance! Nice find IMHO-

How did you go about getting that price on your CRV? Did you go through carsdirect.com? We live about an hour south of St. Louis. What dealership was the most willing to work with you? Thanks
