I bought a CR-V 2WD last friday for 25000 after a small deposit. this included navi (which is so easy to use), wheel locks, splash guards, pin strip, and I also got them to included body side molding for free.

I didn't realize that the EX-L came in 2WD, or is it that they added the NAV unit to the LX? Or is it an EX 2WD to which the NAV has been added?

I wasn't aware that a Nav unit could be added on later - usually Honda makes you buy the top of the line model (EX-L), and they don't have a lot of factory option choices.

The NAVI system is awesome. Its voice activated, it also includes an extra cd for a total of seven cds, AV to listen to your ipod, and if you have one of those scan disks that people use to transfer music from one cpu to other it has a slot for it to. I have more ways to listen to music than i did with my last suv.

NAVI can't be added later unless it's an aftermarket unit.

There is NO comparision!

If yo ulive in the northern part of the country 2WD's are hard to find. if you live in the south they are a dime a dozen.

Thank You

Its been more than 5 weeks since i bought 2007 Honda CR-V EX-L 2WD With NAVI.

Price Paid :
MSRP-$500 (Sale Price was $26895(Inclusive of Destination Fees) + TTL
NO Extra Accessories added
Also made the dealer PM the Honda Care 8Yr/120k Mile warranty for $985($0 Deductible) with the Print out from an online quote.

Dealer - Frank Kent, Ft Worth - OK Experience.

Highest Mileage -- 31.3MPG on a 300 Mile stretch on I45
Stop N GO -- 22~23MPG
But when using freeways/turnpikes and very little Stop N Go in the DFW Metroplex -- 27MPG.

NAVI is OK -- Came with some 2005 DVD -- Does not even recognize the new extensions on Pres George Bush Turnpike that were since the last 1 year.

Overall, Iam satisfied with the purchase other than that i feel stupid paying close to MSRP.

BTW, Did anyone check out what Honda is offering in the CR-V Lineup in UK n Asia -- They have Powerseats / Panaromic MRoof / HID Xenon Lights and Auto Temp Control -- I wonder why Honda does not do the same in US!

5 weeks back you had bought your CR-V and at that time in DFW metroplex area all dealers were selling CR-Vs at MSRP or with premium on MSRP. So don't feel bad.

I am in north part of Dallas. Right now I am dealing with David McDavid of Frisco for CR-V EX. Planning to get it at $23500 (including TTL) and few additional items such as mud guards, tint, tray, etc. In DFW area, is $23500 (including TTL) a good deal for CR-V EX? Or Would I be able to get at lesser price?
