| Since I have learned so much from this forum thought I would post our new purchase experience. Pick up is tomorrow. We are in eastern NC. Checked local dealer and they had the one we wanted and we even test drove. Wanted MSRP on any one, including ordering. Checked 5 or 6 dealers. Only one other dealer wanted MSRP and they did not have the one we wanted on their lot. The others were fair on pricing. Ended up buying from small dealer for $1,000 under MSRP (including $595 destination). Sent a email to local dealer about their attitude with MSRP pricing. The local sales guy did a great job with demo and I wanted to give my business locally. My good by email back to local was great job sales guy poor job sales mgr. MSRP ? No way. | |
Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy a Honda Crv this week and Im in the NYC/North Jersey area ,, Can anyone recommend a dealer within that area that they had a good experience with and can you please state the price you got your crv at. So far, Im considering going to paragon as the person I spoke to on the phone said that they're willing to match and beat any other Honda Dealer's price (I don't know if it has to be a local dealer or US, but if anyone also got a good price from a nearby state, can you please post your salesman and price). Thanks in advance,,and I appreciate all the advice on this forum!

Replying to: hopdevil (Mar 02, 2007 3:50 pm) Hopdevil, Why is it do you think that you were able to get such a good price when most dealers aren't moving on the $500 below msrp floor? (My lowest has been $645 below msrp btw on 4wd ex). There is less demand the the LX then EX (which I would prefer)? It was the end of the month and the guy needed to get his #'s up? I just ask because I think you did great job going from $300 below to $1000. You usually have to play a game o back and forth with multiple dealers to widdle down the quotes time and time again until you get into the reasonable zone. Thanks for you input ahead of time.
