I bought a CRV LX AWD Glacier Blue for 21,692 yesterday. This is the total price not including TTL. I bought the package from www.fightingchance.com and was very pleased with it. I think it would work much better on a vehicle not in such high demand though. I faxed 15 dealerships for quotes and received quotes from six of them. The best three quotes were 21,623 and available within three weeks. 21,600 and available within two weeks. 21,692 and available now. I tried to work a couple of the higher quotes down and they wouldn't budge. I decided for 92 dollars I would rather have the car now. I got to test it out in a snow storm on the way to work this morning and it handled beautifully. I'm sure I could have got closer to invoice on an EX because all the dealers in the area have many EXs on the lot. There are only a handful of LXs in the area on the lot.

After a wait of 9 days I received my CR-V EX 4WD, Royal Blue Pearl with black interior, day before yesterday. It has 3 miles on it. Here is what I paid for it... Sales price: 23,359.00 Splash Guards: 89.00 Trade in: 4,200.00 (2001 Toyota Corolla) ---------------------------------- net: 19,248.00 Sales Tax ---------------------------------- Final price: 20306.64 ---------------------------------- It was the best price I got and I am highly satisified with the price. CR-V is like invoice + 500 and Trade in was really hot. I bought the Corolla for 5400 buck about 2.5 years back, now with additional 30,000 miles, damaged wind shield, and engine check on, I was able to trade in for 1200 bucks less than what I paid 2 years back. For me it looks like a hot deal. Today we have a blizzard conditions with about 9 inches of snow so far here in Nebraska, and the 4 WD was awesome, I did not feel any skidding and the new CR-V was really great. I am enjoying it. |

Replying to: hopdevil (Mar 01, 2007 7:15 pm) Is the destination charge figured into the base? If so, you got it for $1000 under msrp or $600 over invoice. MSRP is $22,395 (21800+595 dest charge) on the AWD LX CRV.

Hi, Spent last 3 weeks price shopping for a 2WD Honda CR-V EX-L With NAVI in the DFW Area. The best i could come up was MSRP-$300(Of course no add-ons unless i wanted to). I put in my deposit yesterday with a local dealer here to wait untill the march month end for delivery for the specific colour i wanted to get. Based on my reviews here on this forum/thread -- Looks like EX-L With NAVI are the ones closer to MSRP OR Is it just the city iam in?? Also, if i wanted to add the following (out side the dealership)... How much iam looking at spending with installation Auto Dimming Mirror w/compass Parking Sensors IPOD Adapter Fog Lights Thanks in advance for your inputs

I am in Utah and have purchased a Tea Green 07 CRV EX-L w/NAV for $29,784 OTD ($1000 off MSRP plus taxes & fees) from Willey Honda through their internet dept. How does that compare to others in the area? I am buying one simultaneously with my sister-in-law, and I thought buying 2 cars at the same time would have more mileage - pardon the pun - in getting me a good deal. Thoughts? |

Replying to: pro5moh (Mar 02, 2007 8:30 am) Auto Dimming Mirror w/compass Parking Sensors IPOD Adapter Fog Lights Thanks in advance for your inputs Auto mirror - I paid $30 for a junked one out of Olds Bravada, which was recently recalled. I sent in the junked one and got a brand new one in the mail, all for $30. Installation is easy, just hook up the positive, negative and if you want to the reverse kill. Parking sensors - you can get them from ebay, generic ones with a digital readout and the beeper for under $80. Follow Honda installation sheets, the holes are pre-marked on the inside of the bumper. Ipod adaptor - the Honda specific adaptor lets you use the steering wheel radio controls to control the iPOD. Online parts dealers sell it for about $160. Installation is easy. Fog lights - i got JDM knock offs for $80. Instllation is not too difficult. You remove the bumper and install them according to Honda OEM installation sheets, and they plug into the existiing wiring for the OEM fogs. No need to run a wire inside the cabin, it is all pre-wired from factory.

Bought it last week. Stockton Honda quoted $22,558.60 (dest. inc.). Car was not in stock, but every other dealer quoted MSRP. Agree we'd wait until it came in. It showed up 24 hours later. |
