I live in Plymouth, MA and just starting to make a decision on buying a CRV EXL (no nav). This seems like a good price for an EX. Did you negotiate in person or over the net? Did they just throw in the roof racks to close the deal? Did you check out other MA dealers? Thanks.

I bought my new 2007 CRV 4WD EX for 1000 less than list. The price quoted on the internet was $23,700. The price quoted from the dealership was $24,695...all in. I got kelly blue book for the trade-in as well.

All in all. I was very pleased to get my price and a good trade-in.

I purchased a 2007 EX-L 4WD in Green Tea Metallic for $851.00 off of list if you account for the $149.00 non-negotiable doc fee. $25544.00 + tax, license transfer, and title. I have only driven the CR-V about 150 miles but it is sweet. It replaces my 2005 gas eating Nissan Titan 4x4 Crew Cab Pickup truck.

I just purchased a 2007 CRV EX-L (4WD white/gray leather) from Honda of Clear Lake, Houston, TX for $99 over invoice this week end (confirmed numbers using Edmunds pricing). No hassle - over the internet and phone. The vehicle is in route and should be at the dealer in two weeks. Beware of dealer add ons - I made it a part of the contract that no extras (VIN etch in windows $210, plus numerous other possible high profit bolt-ons they always try to install, and window tints $350, etc. would void the deal). They agreed and came to my house to deliver the paperwork!!
So far, a pleasant experience - we'll see how the delivery goes...........

This looks like the deal I need. I would appreciate it if you could provide the name of your salesperson in hopes that I can get the same deal. And please let me know how your deal works out, what adders they try to stick you with, etc. I live in Katy, TX.

Honda is NOT running an interest rate special on the CRV right now.

For those of you who have purchased new CR-V's using Honda finance, what is the "normal" interest rate is for a 60 month loan (or any other term)? I have good credit.

    Thanks

My dealership offered financing through a local credit union. I got a 6.05% APR for 48/60 (i picked 48) which is pretty competitive.
My insurance (State Farm) offered 6.5% loans so I had that as a bargaining tool.

EDIT: I did put 10K cash down, don't know if that made a difference in the rate. I don't think it should.
