Replying to my own post:

Mine also has painted pinstripes. I didn't realize pinstripes are an option until I read some other posts, and I never even looked at the dealer's window sticker 'cuz I had a firm price before even setting foot on the premises. BTW, I had a quote for $100 less (i.e. $18,900) for a 2WD LX (I don't know if it would've had mud guards and pinstripes) from a dealer about an hour away in West Chester, PA. I decided to spend $100 more to buy from a dealer only a couple of miles away. If nothing else, it probably would've cost $20 in gas just to drive my gas-hog Chrysler minivan to West Chester.

i am looking for a 2006 CRV 2WD. i received a quote for $21,500 which i refused. i believe i can get a better deal than $500 plus invoice price. any idea what is the current bottom line price for this car?

There are 2WD LX and EX, which one you got?

H and A Accessories sells Honda and Acura parts online at a discount. I don't know how shipping costs will figure in, but I'm going to use them for a few items for my new Pilot.

As an example, your CRV running boards are $346.80. They install with a socket wrench and a combination wrench. You don't have to cut into the car or anything. Why pay a dealer $200 to do 20 minutes' work?

You should be able to get this for about $1000 less than this if not more. I paid about 22600 in feb. Now with 750 cash back I would hazard a guess around 22,100 is bottom line. Just maybe not in your area.

The "Other" site by bullfrog34

People often mention "the other site." Obviously no one can tell me what it is, but could someone give me a hint, maybe a phrase to search for on google. Every time I search for car forums, my hits are either lame "b" sites or edmunds.

Hopefully I don't get sanctioned for this post.

I'm not sure why the link can't just be posted, but I'll assume that others know better...lol.

Try searching for Honda CRV forum or Honda SUV forum; that should get you there (at least I think that's the site people are referring to!). Scroll down the page until you see the link to the forums and click on the one for Honda CRVs.

HONDA FINANCING INCENTIVE STARTS FRIDAY!!!!! by bullfrog34

2.9% for 24 or 36 months and 4.9% for 48 or 60 months starts this Friday and will be good through the end of the month. I know it's good for CR-V, Pilot and Odyssey, though it might be good on other models too.

Just got an email from my dealer stating the above.

2006 CRV SE AWD: Price? by screechkemp

First, thanks to all who post messages to the board...helped me a great deal in purchasing a 2006 Odyssey late last year.

Second, I'm trying to help a co worker with pricing on the '06 CRV SE AWD. I've read all the recent messaging, and am a little confused. Invoice is reported as $23510 + Transportation, TTL, etc but some posters appear to be communicating a $21,000 figure is possible...or am I confused.

Bottom line, before Transp, TTL, Doc fees, etc...just the vehicle itself...what can she expect to pay? Where?...and pls let us know if items such as floor mats, fog lights, etc were part of the deal...to enable an apples to apples comparison. Thanks again. Much appreciated.

See Post 3265, The price I paid was including Destination but not TTL as that varies by state. All additional items were bought later from Handa.com
