We didn't and so we are still waiting. Ours is caught up in the Baltimore mess too. The dealer says by the end of the month, worst case.

Oh well. We're getting exactly what we wanted for a good price, so we can be patient.

I got several internet quotes from nearby honda dealers for a 06 CR-V Lx AWD (No options). The lowest one is: $20304 + $499 dealer fee + TTL. What do you think? Can I do better? please advise. Thank you.

Bought in Orange County,CA a month ago just about the time 06 were trickling in

$19,144 + $515 destination/handling. Includes mudguards, wheel locks & cargo tray ( $250 value) which was priced at $495 (includes cost of labor they say). Roof rack was priced at $695. I told them to take all the options out and walked. Called me back and offered to include everything except roof rack was 50% and that they never take racks out. I said I can get a whole set-up for less( I manage a bike shop). Finally I agreed to pay $100 for labor of installing and uninstalling though I offered to take it out myself. There was not a lot of 05 left from dealers around and this particular one did not have the PTTR problem ( thanks to this Forum) after test driving 4 vehicles that had it. They were also price matching a quote I got from another dealer. This dealer was close to home and also offered FREE oil change, yearly 21 point inspection and vehicle wash for life.

I think I did pretty good since Honda rarely sells below invoice.

Invoice is $20504. Good price for car but too much for dealer fee. Get more quotes including Doc fee or dealer fee from other dealer and ask them to match it. what state are you in?

I am in Orlando, FL. It seems all Honda dealers in Florida state charge $499 dealer fee. Will this dealer fee also be negotiable?

I am in NY so I do not know. I was told conveyance fee($199) is required by the state of CT. So guess each state has the different rules.
Only way to find out is search this forum or call some dealers to ask them.
Heard you can not buy Honda Care from out of state dealer if you are a resident of FL.

Here in NY, no such dealer fee required by state. Only Doc fee from the dealer which is negotiable. I think NYS charges over $10 for tire recycling fee or something.

Hey barbecuesauce9

I am real curious on the hold up at the Baltimore port. I placed my deposit on 9/8. Received several calls from different dealerships the last week of Septemer that their 2006s were in.

On 9/28 I've purchased CRV SE SAHARA SAND $100 over invoice price from Jim Coleman Honda in Clarksville, MD. It just came of the truck with only 2 miles on it.

Price of Vehicle: $24,160.00 (includes $550 dest. charge)
Tax (5%): $1213.00
Doc/Electronic Transmisson Fee: $120.00

License, tage, etc: $128.00
OTD Price: $25,668

I hope this helps

Yes, as a Florida resident, I can not purchase Honda care from out of state dealers.

Now my offer has been change to: 20154 + 499 dealer fee + TTL.

Sounds good or not?

We are getting an 06 LX AWD for 20,165 base; 21,895 OTD w/ security system.
DC area. The dealer says a big backup in Baltimore, possibly due to re-routing freight affected by hurricanes.
Don't have any VIN information. Expecting it to start with S, but could be wrong.
Today I was told it will get here by the end of next week, but it's anybody's guess.
