Hey guys , just got my new 2010 lx model awd at chicago's carr's Honda , so happy , I was at the bargaining table for 20 whole minutes.
My final price was $20,789 + destination fee of $780 = $21,569
the deal also comes with 2 free oil change vouchers , free wheel locks , and free splash guards .
I was considering the 2 wheel drive model but went for the all wheel drive since an suv is just not an suv without Awd + winter is a nightmare .

You're not very bright are you? You pay for what you get , not everybody get as good as a deal as others but let's not forget that it's a Honda , ever heard of " utilization "? Can a $20k car do the necessary job that a $50k car can do? Pretty much yes . If you want luxury then who's stopping you ,go for an mdx at $40k + , or if don't want to " over pay" then go for a Kia sportage I'm sure they will give you the deal of a lifetime

Just bought my first honda cr-v yesterday in southern ct. Silver metallic which was the color I was looking for. I paid $26,330 plus tax & lic. The dealer threw in a free roof rack, a rear deck protection insert and door guards 2 plus free oil changes. I had shopped around in Ct. and R.I. and this was as good a deal as I found. I think I did ok and got the car i was looking for. I wasn't in the dearer ship for more than an hour in total..

We just bought a 2010 CRV LX-4WD for $25,758 OTD price from Route 22 Honda, Hillside, NJ. The price include NY tax, remote start, rear camera & splash guards. However inorder to get 1.9% interest rate for 60 months with excellent credit, Route 22 Honda forced us to pay another $1500 dollars. (Total price $25,758 inclusive this $ 1500). I believe they fooled us. Would like to know is there any relation between $ 1500 and 1.9%. Is price justified ? All comments appreciated and welcome.

How much did you get off MSRP before taxes and fees etc.
MSRP = X (including dest fee and any dealer add ons)
Price paid = (excluding tax, fees and stuff)

MSRP was $27,725 destination fee was $780 for a total of $28,525. I paid $26,330. Then the dealer gave me $500 of free options ie: roof rails and rear deck protection mat, door guards. So that would be $2195 off of the MSRP with the destination charge. Then I would add the $500 in dealer options that he thru in so I guess I would say it was $2695 off of the sticker ... Are my calculations correct? Did I get a good deal?
Has anyone opted for the Simonize Glass Guard protection? It lists for $795 and he was trying to sell it to me for $495. I still have the option of returning and getting it applied but so far I am not thinking I will do it. Any experience with it???

Yesterday, I bought 2010 CR-V LX 4WD from Route 22, Hillside, NJ for an OTD price of $25758. This include NY tax, rear camera, remote start, mud guard as accessories. But I was fooled by the dealership that inorder to get 1.9% interest, I have to pay another $ 1500 dollars to the bank (total $25758), which I did for an excellent credit. Can any one tell me that is there any relation between $1500 and 1.9%. If not, please do not be fooled by the dealership.

I think it sounds good. CRVs are for some reason hard to get a discount like the Accords.
