Just bought an 2006 Equinox and I'm not too crazy about the seats, I have discovered in a short period of time how crapy the interior is. I love the inside of the torrents and heard they are much alike,   Has anyone tried or has put torrent interior in their equinox? Replying to: kimberlyfaye (Jul 09, 2009 8:27 pm) The Torrent and the Equinox are exactly the same vehicles minus little details in the body and interior apperence but otherwise the same thing.   The interior of the seats are identical except for the cloth design.   Even if you change seats in your Equinox with seats from the Torrent there will be no difference.   It like changing a pair of pants, take your "jeans' off and put some "dress pants" you'll still have the same legs underneath but appearing better in "dress pants".   That's it.

Replying to: kobebean (Jul 21, 2009 3:36 pm) I can't speak for the Highlander but the new Equinox is head and shoulders over the old one. Better everything, more high end options like memory seats, rear camera and the list goes on. Best part is they did away with the Chinese engines which seems to be a big problem. Like anything that comes from China.

After talking to the parts department at my dealership they told me that the backlog is clearing (I get the full line because my son is an asst. manager of the department). If anyone is waiting for parts out there, hang tight because the orders are being filled in the order they were placed. Also get a hold of the NTSA- in dc.Also file a Lemon charge with the F TC>>we bailed Gm out,now Gm needs to step up to the plate and fix out vehicles for free. Also get a hold of your Local Senator and or Representative and give him an ear full!!!
