Invoice price is hard to believe...must be 2006's since they are no longer in production.

Pretty good deal. Another $500 lower is doable. I would say $3,000 below MSRP is a pretty good deal.

I say NO DEAL!

There are no significant differences that I believe between 06 and 07. Still a heck of a deal at invoice. No way will in CA are they selling it at those prices. Best prices here for a 5 series is $1000 over invoice (this includes the MACO $400 + $600 profit).

Regarding the NY Times ad for 5 Series, Do you remember the dealership or part of town it was located in? I haven't seen many 2006's, and that would be a good deal.

I'll venture out on a limb...

If the car MSRPs between $57K-$58K, then you have a pretty decent deal... It looks like they may be marking up the money factor from .00225, and that is adding about $20/mo. to your payment...

So... generally.. a decent deal... Of course, I have no idea how the new 5-series is selling, and I don't know your exact numbers... or, if the dealer would be willing to do a base money factor deal at only $1000 over invoice...

Nobody getting hurt on this deal, though..

It looks good.. I show the base MF to be .00225... Looks like they are marking it up for some extra profit... As stated before, that adds about $20/mo. to the payment...

I'd say that would be the only negotiating point left.. Even at .0025 on the money factor, it is a pretty good deal on an '07 model..
