I am going to take a test drive and hopefully nail down a nice deal this weekend. What is the best deal did you guys get? I am in the Boston area. BMW Norwood said you are selling at MSRP. I won't even bother going there.

locked in on a lease? by hpowders

A few weeks ago I made a pretty good leasing deal on a 2005 545i which had to be ordered. The car should be here towards the middle or end of July.
I got the base .0010 money factor and a pre-tax monthly payment of $673 on a $58,000 MSRP vehicle.
Does anyone know if I am locked into this deal? I ask because since the 545i is outgoing, I am wondering if BMWFS comes out with a better deal on this car this month, perhaps cash back to the dealer, am I in position to ask for the better deal?
I have a print-out of my deal from the dealer but I didn't sign anything and I did make a deposit for the fees with my credit card.

525xi ordered! by jfirb

Finally ordered the 525xi after about 1 month research. Man, you would think all dealers are pretty much the same but they are DIFFERENT! I emailed for a quote to all BMW dealers around Boston. BMW Norwood told me they are selling at MSRP and no discount at all and the way they said that was so arrogant. Since other dealers offered at least $1500 off MSRP, I didn't even bother to ask them to match even though it is the closest dealer to me. Finally I took the test drive and ordered from BMW Peabody at about $2500 off. What a great experience there. The salesman was very polite and listened carefully what I wanted rather than pushing to sell what they had. He actually didn't push to sell any options I didn't mention. I would highly recommend BMW Peabody.

Congratulations! My motto is if you're spending that much $, you should have it just the way you want it. Did they give you a time frame?
I ordered my 530xi on May 17 and expect to take delivery sometime this week. The car has made it to the US and is now in New York. It is nice to be able to track the order on-line. Good luck!

Thanks! Yes, they actually modified a car that they already ordered but hasn't been built to match my requirement and told me I can expect a Mid August delivery. Enjoy your coming baby!

I suggest taking your configured auto to a couple more dealers. You'll be surprised how they can suddenly give you a better price. At your total price and considering the invoice price, I'd be happy to get $2,200 off the msrp. You are not far from that mark and I think it is attainable, the key is to tell them what you are will to pay.($49,390).

530i current money factor rates by ehnj

Hi,

I just started my quest to become a first time BMW owner. I am looking to lease a 530i (3yr/12k). MSRP incl. options (premium package, 6 speed automatic), excluding destination charge is $49,575. Invoice is $45,415. From the forum postings over the past month or so, it looks like I should be able to get $1500 over invoice. I haven't seen any recent postings on the current money factor rate. The best information I can find is a money factor of .00195, which is an interest rate of a little over 4.5%. This would take me to $665/mo (incl. taxes), and about $2100 down (incl. 1st month, security deposit of $750, destination charge of $695).

Is that the best I should be able to get? I am in Northern NJ - any pointers on flexible dealerships is always welcome!
