Hi, Would really appreciate some help on this. Looking to lease a 2009 328i - 36 months. 10k per month. features - premium package, ipod, 17' vspoke wheels. MSRP - 41050. Now I was willing to pay upto 3000 cash down (cap reduction). Using (7+1) MSRDs to reduce my MF the dealer is quoting me $337+tax. With all the fees (bank fees - 725, doc fees-249, registration-262) to be paid upfront. Now is this a good deal? Also I can get a 2008 335i with same features for $320+tax (again all the fees paid upfront). Which one should I go for ? and please tell me if this is a good lease or not. Thanks

Replying to: blueguydotcom (Jan 24, 2009 10:58 pm) Also assuming everything else being same what would you go for: 2008 335i or 2009 328i (i can get the 2008 335i probably $15-$20 cheaper). Finally what is the difference between the invoice and the MSRP price? Is it a fixed number in the range of $2700? I heard about that 1500 discount as well. Does it come off the purchase price ? Thanks

Replying to: Scorpio77 (Jan 25, 2009 7:00 am) Invoice and MSRP varies. For 2008s there's an automatic transmission credit and the rebate, so you should be able to get an auto-equipped 3 series for about 6k below msrp. Here are the current lease numbers for 2008s - http://bimmerfest.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=170612&d=1230743887 This is before the new 1500 credit. So if you're into an auto equipped 335i, you can get the auto credit of 1260 and 1500 rebate with a 0.00085 money factor. It's 0.00075 with 08 328is. Here's a link for a great lease calculator: http://leaseguide.com/calc.htm edmunds TMV works fine for 08s and last I checked is a tad off for 09s. Still with a 335 if you're getting a cap that's about 6k below MSRP you're fine. On a 328, it's more like 5500. |

Replying to: blueguydotcom (Jan 25, 2009 10:14 am) 2008 335i sedan: MSRP (44650) Total Discount: 7000 Cap cost: 37650 Cash Down: 0 Residual value: 60% (36 month lease with 10k miles) MF factor: 0.00085 Reduced MF factor: 0.00040 (due to 8 MSDs I will make) which I think is the lowest possible Sales tax: 7% Monthly Payment: $377 per month incld tax (this is what i calculated) Upfront payment: 8MSD of 400 (3200) + 725 (bank fees) + 100( doc fees) + 250 (registration) = $4275. This is all my calculation. Please tell me if this is a good deal or not? Is there anything I am missing here? I plan to close it tomorrow!! Many thanks in advance. Deep
