> I love the cover plate that is part of the BMW/Garmin kit; it hides the charger-mount so neatly.< I must have the worst karma -- in the process of installing the Garmin/BMW hardwire kit, the "professional installer" managed to lose the mount cover plate (which was a major factor for me buying the kit in the first place). Anyone out there willing to part with their "mount cover?" It would be greatly appreciated (even monetarily). Thanks in advance to anyone who can come to my rescue.

Got the recent spin from a dealer that I spoke to

msrp $48820
offers they will not entertain: anything under 47K.. They said manual is a premium and they want msrp because it's in high demand. Or so they say...

Has 6-speed manual, premium, sport, nav, ipod, comfort access, and sat radio. With destination, I computed the invoice to be 44125.

I guess time to keep looking...

I think you're right. No one has a manual coupe in the color I want in the area.

they came down to alittle under 47K so 2K under msrp and 2700 over invoice! They said everyone wants this one. That and it's end of the month. I guess supply and demand. Might have to order since no one else in the area has one or go get an automatic steptronics.

They're lying as that car is wasting away on the lot. Remind them it's March 31 and they can either move it for $700 over invoice (if you really want it, maybe accept 1k over) tonight or it can sit on the lot all next month.

You're in control. They can be pigheadish but they're only hurting themselves.

Does day of month really make a difference in price? by salute07

Getting ready to deal on a 328i in NC with the following options:
Steptronic
Prem
Nav
Xenon
iPod Adapter
Heated seats

Per Edmunds and KBB invoice should be $38,215

Given it's early April what should I expect, $500-1000 over this invoice price?

If you belong to Costco, you should be able to do $500 over invoice with no problem. If not, haggle some. We did better with local dealer after checking Costco deal and rejecting it. As you know, dealers aren't that soft when dealing in foreign cars; even end of model years sales they offer discounts that are slim compared to domestic models.

What city/metropolitan area are you looking in? I am driving a 2208 335xi I leased with a negotiated price of $ 500 over invoice, 3yrs, 10k miles/yr. I placed the order in late December, took delivery 2/18, made one security deposit to lock in .0020 money factor.
