I see that most of the postings on this forum are on leasing a BMW 328i. Few post on buying. Does this mean that the 328i is a vehicle lease rather than buy ? To take advantage of owning it for 3 yrs while the warranty is still in place ? I've read leasingguide.com and I understand that leasing vs. buying a car is an individual decision, but, I wanted to get you guys' input.. Is the 328i a car one would rather lease than buy ? - Sa

Do buyers typically get an extended warranty ? My current car is a toyota camry which I bought new & have driven for the past 10 years. I'm now ready for an upgrade and a more fun car to drive! I like the idea of being able to turn the car in after a lease and enjoying it while it's still new. Do the dealers try & get you on any damage beyond wear and tear ? Excess miles ?

From what I've heard late model e46 and e90 cars are pretty darn reliable. I was sorta unlucky with my 3 series cars but I still look back fondly on my 3 year lease of a 2003 330i ZHP. There's little reason to believe a properly maintained 3 won't last you well over 6-7 years. A coworker has a 2001 325i that's still going strong. |
