I can feel the wind from here! Test it out and send an -email to other dealers with the price you want. Ask for your price over the invoice and list both. See what you get.

How much over invoice is a good deal? by irisheyes44

I am currently in the hunt for a 328xi coupe. I am thinking about ordering the car and wonder what the mark up should be in New York area on this car. I would like a car that is loaded with all the options and that is why I am ordering it vs buying off the lot. What colors look good with the saddle brown interior?

I was given a 2 quotes of 1800 and 2100 off MSRP by 2 different dealers.

The best price = what you want to pay. IE, if you feel it's worth the money, then take it. Personally, 300-500 over invoice seems decent to me. Others are willing to pay more. In the end, figure out your personal valuation.

Can you really expect that kind of deal (300-500 over invoice) for this type of car. If you can, where?

All over socal it's the norm.

"this type of car"? It's just a mass produced - and very common - car in a VERY competitive segment (TL, IS, C, A4, G). Not to mention BMW had lousy sales in February.

Try to shoot for $2,500 off MSRP for the coupe. As far as what colors go well with saddle brown/black leather interior-I ordered mine with Platinum Bronze metallic and it looks awesome! Its a real lady killer since the exterior looks classy and elegant, while the interior is very flashy! Great combo! Everyone who has seen it loves it(young and old)!

I have ordered a 335xi Coupe with Saddle and Black Sapphire. Monaco Blue, White, and even the 2 greys look good although less common.

A local DC area dealer has quoted me a price of $43,269 for a 335i with the following options and packages: sport, cold weather, premium, iPod adapter, and satellite radio. This seems like a good deal. Has any one been quoted a lower price recently? Thanks.

Offering Dealer Price over Invoice by dannyfreed

About to lease my first BMW and appreciate all the advice here. My question boils down to this - I have priced out a 328xi 2-door coupe w metallic paint, Steptronic, Premium, Sport, Leather Wheel/Paddles and Satellite Radio. Comes to $43,970.00 MSRP. Invoice comes to $40,500.00 (both numbers include $775.00 Destination Charge). I want to offer $1000 over invoice. Do I first have to add the MACO, Training and other fees into the invoice price or should my offer be over the $40,500.00? I went to one dealer and we had all the numbers worked out. However, he then had $41,330.00 invoice instead of $40,500 invoice (he had $300 for MACO, $180 for training and $350 for some other charge (Disposition?)) and wanted me to go $1000 over that number. I refused and he said we have nothing else to talk about.
