Not quite right, the $ is available for units that arrived in dealer inventory BEFORE Feb 14 2008. priority 1 cars do not qualify either!

Thanks for the reply. Did you buy it thru a BMW center and have them install it? Is the LCD screen 3.5" or 4.3"? Also, how is the "custom" mounting bracket.

You should shoot for $2,500 off MSRP! If that dealer doesn't want to give you that discount just get up and walk. Shop around and negotiate and you will find a dealer willing to give you this deal.

Actually, just email around. No sense in wasting time in person. Write down what you want, the price and what you price you want to pay.

AFTER they agree to price ask for their exact lease rates: mf, residual, miles, fees, etc.

Also, if there is cash in the trunk, then the price - in my eyes - should be very close to invoice on a coupe. On a sedan with trunk money, I expect a sale price below invoice.

BMW alarm? Extended warranty? by drrocket

Any advice on an alarm system for an '08 328i SP sedan with Comfort Access? Is the optional BMW alarm system decent, or is there an especially good aftermarket alarm system recommended for the car?

Any extended warranty advice? How do BMW's extended warranty options compare with the ones offered by WarrantyDirect or similar aftermarket company?

Thanks in advance for any info or advice.

hi guys.i am new to leasing since i always financed in the past. i want to know that if the residual value of a lease car is based on msrp of the car or negociated price of the car? lets say a $50k car with 60% residual will be 30k. but if the negociated price is $44k then the same cars residual will be 26400. i wana know which amount will be the residual value on which the lease will be based? thanks
