Pondering a quote (DC area) for an '08 328i with the following configuration:

Auto
Heated front seats
Navigation
Sirius
Premium package

Dealer quote is $38,465 before tax...including tags, floor mats.

Sound like a good deal?

Congratulations, you received a very good deal and a beautiful car. The best thing that you did was the 0 down, let me know how you like the vehicle. Any likes or dislikes would be appreciated. Even with the CSI score for the dealer ask for the mats to be included or other compensation. I don't mean to be a stickler but this is business and your hard earned money. Congrats again! Wish you the best.

When you say no out of pocket, do you literally mean nothing, or just nothing other than the first month, sec dep and assorted bank fees and whatnot?

Anyone know what the money factor will be for November on the 335 sedan? October's base money factor is .00200,I don't know if that is a good one.I will have to order my car and was not sure if I should lock in that Oct .00200 money factor. From what I understand you can lock in the rate when you order the car and if the rate is lower upon delivery of the incoming car you can get the lower rate from the month that you receive the car.My opinion is if the rate is lower at the time I receive the car the dealer will lie and say the rate I locked in is lower so they can make more profit . The dealer can mark up a money factor .00040 at a maximum above bmwfs base money factor. That money factor is not on the lease contract and you actually have to ask the dealer what the rate is. What a surprise it is always the max, that is why you have to negotiate everything else because if you don't see it in print ,you are getting beat. Sometimes it is better to just negotiate payment ,as long as you know what your cap cost should be.Your 825 acq fee can be be 625 and your maco or adv or dealer ser fee can be waived . Basically a lease has many other variables that the dealer plays with to confuse you.Well not us on this forum ,we are a team and a formidable one at that.

I bought a 335i yesterday (it's on the ship over), but did not lock in a lease rate. Another salesman at the dealer said the money factor was .00275, which seems high to me. When I ran the numbers they didn't add up, as my car was 48,000 after a grand or so was taken off MSRP, and they offered a 36 month lease for 692 after 5k down. That number works out better without 5k down! but the difference (in this case) betwen .00275 and .002 MF is 50$ / month. I just have to figure out where that 5 grand went before my car gets here!

I was wondering if I was crazy to think that $685/month with $0 down is a lot for a 328i coupe with an msrp of $44,170. They told me that they would sell it to me for $42,170 which was $1000 over cost. they money factor was .0019 which was also their "cost" for the money, usually they sell it at .0023. The residual is pretty high on a 15,000 mile/year lease. Is it possible to get these payments under $600/month? Or am I just spoiled from my last lease when the cost of money ws a lot lower?

First time leasing here...please help me out!

L.A. area in Cali

being offered the 328i sedan - auto, xenon, metallic paint

for $34145 (MSRP $35725)

36 Months/ 10k per year $808.51 driveoff and $434.60 + tax/month
36 Months/ 12k per year $818..55 driveoff and $443.91 +tax/month

I think it can go lower since it's an 07...so please give me some pointers

I'd probably go for the 12k lease if I am getting this car

Is this a decent deal? I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance.

I drove the 335 coupe 6 speed and was smiling and laughing-great car but is pretty expensive. The 328 is a very good and fun car but not the same. I wanted a bunch of options like nav, ipod and sat. Is it better to get the 328 with the options or the 335 trimmed down? Resale? Do I need premium package etc?

thinking of upgrading my wife's 95 C220 MB. A while back she consolidated her
credit cards and car into one loan payment (easy since she works at a bank).
She owes 11.5k on it. The BMW dealer I am working with has 07 loaded executive
cars available, these are loaded! He is estimating $4500 for trade (only 63K miles)
leaving 7K neg. equity. Gross cap cost of $40,100, Money factor of .0018, $2500
down payment of $2500 + sec. deposit, firt months payment and taxes. So,
$4071.26 at signing, and $535.76 for 36mo LEASE. the car is a 6spd man. Any thoughts?
Lease support ends on Oct 31.
