I am trying to negotiate a price in Mentor, Ohio with a large BMW dealership. My wife wants a 325xi because of weather conditions here-they are horrible during winter. This is what she wants: 325xi Premimum package automatic trans. heated seats white-not metallic Dealer is asking for 36,645 before taxes, but including delivery charges. This sounds like $1,600 under msrp to me. Does anyone ahve a feel for midwest pricing and Cleveland pricing in particular? Can I still push him some? |

Replying to: dexteref (Apr 13, 2006 4:41 pm) VOB BMW service department is terrible. I have experienced problems with them due to lack of knowledge about their own vehicles and a non-caring attitude. My wife has a Ford and her dealership is more professional and caring than VOB. I am very disappointed since paying for premium car one should expect better service. Since I live in the area, I have no choice but to service my car there. I dread going to the service department. I have provided you with a link that describes VOB service department from customers feedback. VOB Dealer Rater Feedback Even though they have a low score, it is apparently a problem across the state of MD and VA(See links below). Hopefully BMW NA can resolve these problems with its dealers. Replying to: dexteref (Apr 15, 2006 5:28 am) All sales men say that,it is just part of their gimmick. I have not heard anything bad from the sales men at VOB. My sales man was great (I got 330i) and my friend that bought a 325i sales man was great. He gave her more of a discount than mine because I placed an order in April 2005 so the dealers were not discounted much then (750 off msrp). Like I said, you can get it for $33k, my friend did. Just press the sales man that it is all you got and that you are ready to buy right now at that price. Sad to say, that I got rid of my 06 330i after less than a year. I decide to move up and get a 2005 545i. So far the car is great! Just trying to get use to the size of the car and power. Good luck with your purchase!

One guy said the Deep Green + Terra Cotta looked sharp. Before I order I want to see what looks good since the BMW website is of no help.

I am new to the forum and had a quick question. Had found this deal on swaplease on a BMW 330i with nav, 10000 miles per year for 32 months at 550 per month. The car is in Cincinati and I live in Houston. The original owner ( giving up his lease to buy a new house ) said he would pay for transfer fees while I have to pay for shipping...approx 700 bucks. Does any one have experience with swap lease and what additional fees will I incur eg TT&L? And is this a smart thing to do? Does the nav work out of state ? Any advice would be great. LS
