I live in chicago. Yesterday I read on a bmw message board that there is a February lease special on the 330i. Forgive me if this has been posted already, but does anyone know if this is true? I did not see it on the bmwusa.com website.

Oghowie,

I got that quote from New Century BMW in Alhambra. Pacific was only willing to give me $1,000 over invoice (which incl $330 MACO) I got and initial quote, I counter offered and he came down $190. I just went to SouthBay BMW and they were willing to go $800 over MACO included invoice. I will probably go with them cuz they are nearest my house. It's gonna be May by the time it show up though

Good Luck

Rats13,

Do you have the contact info for the person you were dealing with? New Century is reasonably close to me and if they really are offering that price it will help with my bargaining.

Thanks alot.

If rats13 had the contact information, he couldn't share it with you, as it would violate forum rules..

Click on Rules of the Road on the left hand side of the page, or just read the message that is printed in RED down below.

I was just gonna post that they don't like us posting contact info. I can tell you I simply picked the e-mail address off of the contact us info and asked for quote. I countered lower and he gave me the above info as his bottom line.

I ordered mine on January 6th and picked it up on Feb. 14th. You can track it on the BMW owners circle website or call 800-831-1117 and select option 2, then just type in your production number. Good luck.

330i Lease - A Good Deal? by gone4aride

Looking to lease a 2006 330i in the Albany, NY area and just received the following quote from a local dealer. From what I have seen on this forum, I believe that the quoted lease terms are competitive, but I am not too sure about the dealer profit factor. Should I be able to find a better deal in this region or is the following truly competitive. Dealer has stated that $1750 over invoice is the best that they will do on a vehicle that must be ordered.

I have never leased before, so please let me know what you think.

South Bay BMW:
MSRP: 44,840
Invoice: 41,090 kbb.com
MACO: 330
Price: 42,220 ($800 over kbb.com invoice+MACO)

It seemed like a decent deal and dealer is close to my house (plus my wife refused to let me shop anymore). I'm not happy about the MACO but there doesn't seem to be much I could do about.

We're gonna buy it but it won't be here till May.
Salesman said I was too late for Feb build. It's gonna be a long 2-3months

It seems like they are marking up the acquisition fee by $200. They're giving you the base money factor which is good. They should be able to come down on the selling price by AT LEAST $750. You should roll the taxes into your lease payment.

Using an 8.25% Sales tax rate rolled into your lease with the $1000 over invoice selling price of the vehicle, I get a payment of $555.56 per month.

You pay 1st month, security, acq fee, & various other fees you listed up front.

Thanks for your input. The dealer (Keeler BMW) tells me that $1750 over invoice is the best that they will do on a special order car from Germany. I have pushed them for $1000 over invoice but they tell me that they will only do this for inventory that they have on their lot.

You mention that it appears that they are inflating the acquisition fee by ~$200. Isn't this a standard rate?

Also, the Sales tax in my locale is 7%

Any suggestions on other dealers in my region that might offer a better deal?
