1. A 325xi is 27,760 + $695 shipping + auto $1210 + BMW Assist 685 + dealer profit $1000 = 313xx. There is no MACO on ED. Be sure if you lease that they work the lease numbers off MSRP.

2. No idea.

3. He's right, place your order by mid march. The sooner you place the order, the better off you'll be as you can specify an exact pick up time.

You might consider getting quotes from further areas which have more of a selection of BMW dealers, thus more potential to negotiate. I have just heard of MACO and advertising fees. I have heard from some that the carpet mats are included, some have not. I think you should certainly have it in your deal regardless, including wheel locks-which I am surprised are options on cars these days.

Matt

I was in the same position about 8 weeks ago. I thought I had a St. Louis contact that was willing to deal (the closest COSCO associated dealer I could find) but it soured.

The best I’ve found within 800 miles of Dallas is Autobahn BMW in Ft. Worth. Through them I have a 330ci coupe / leather / 18” wheels / xeon / sport / metallic / alarm on order…$44,250 out the door (including TTL, e.g. Texas 6.25% sales tax)

Thats so much for your reply. Mind if I ask you how much off that was from MSRP? Is yours automatic? Did you also look at Audi A4?

Thanks

I placed my order on 12/30 for my 330xi, but the dealer didn't get it keyed into the system until 1/3/06. I'm scheduled for production this week (week 8). By my math, you are running two weeks ahead of me (ordered 3 weeks later and production is only one week later), so feel good about that. Dealer is estimating end of March pickup. The dealer did give me my production # right when he ordered it, and as far as I can tell, this is the only way to track a specific order.

Denville BMW by mattr82

I just signed for my new 330xi to be ordered from Denville BMW in New Jersey.

Got the car for exactly what was agreed in e-mail, $43,329 Out the Door. The car is MSRP $43,520. 330xi Jet Blk/Terra/Poplar w/ Automatic, Premium Pack, Heated Seats, and Rear Park Assist (including all season mats/wheel locks). The breakdown on the vehicle was:

Car: 40383.02 (Invoice was 39,895, so $488 over invoice
Tax: 2,422.98 (6%)
Tire Fee $6
Registration/Title Fee (4 yrs) 319
Documentation Fee $198
Out The Door-$43,329

I was very impressed with how everything went, we were in and out in around an hour. The next 6-8 week wait should be tough!

From looking at quotes from all over, I think the California market is one of the most competitive. I think you should be able to get between 500-750 over invoice if you shop around enough. Get them to throw in wheel locks too and perhaps something else, as the carpeted floor mats should be included in the car to begin with. I would advise sending a mass e-mail. Find the best quote and see if the dealers in your area can match/beat this price. If there are multiple local dealers, you can get them into a bidding war for your business. Hope this helps.
Good luck,
Matt
