If I simply multiply by 0.94 for tax rate you seem to only pay less than $800 over invoice? Also invoice price came out to be $40,095 w/your configuration. Which dealer is this? Is this off the lot or special order?

We have a 6 percent tax, so from my calculations it seems like 580 or so above invoice, give or take a few bucks. Motor Vehicle here is for 4 yrs between 290-330, and doc fee ranges between 100-200. I have been negotiating out the door prices rather than car+fees+TTL in order to not get screwed by them tacking on additional fees. I have attempted to break it down compared to the other responses I have received: 40,445 car (figuring 550 over invoice, might be slighly off) 2426 tax (6%) 138 doc 320 mv (we pay for all 4 years at registration, this is why it is so high) Again these numbers may be slighly off one way or the other, but they are pretty close to accurate I think. This is from Denville BMW. I have been getting the best responses from Denville, Difeo, and Prestige. I e-mailed around 20 dealers, and only have heard back from 10. This is for a car to be ordered. I am going in on Saturday to sign the papers unless I get a better deal. Thanks for your help, and please let me know if you have any info on the tire and wheel hazard plan. Regards, Matt |

I looked into that 2.9% financing with BMWFS.... It's only for the "Central" region, which extends are far east as Ohio (and a very small piece of PA); as north as Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota; as south as Kentucky; as west as Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri. It's definitely not fair that they don't offer that everywhere else! |
