Where I live.. the dealer is offering 2.9% on every BMW except M5, M3, 6-series and 7-series.. Through BMWFS..

Maybe you better check into it?

BMWFS is offering 2.9% where I live as well. But I am wondering if one has to have exceptional credit score to get that rate. Are people getting qualified for that with 750 Creidt score?

2006 325xi auto, heated seats, sat wiring, power fron seats with driver memory MSRP 36800, I offered 35500. Did I offer too much? Invoice is 33700.

Regarding the 750 credit score, my wife and I are in the 650-700 range with no significant issues, but don't have a lot of debt. In my maybe not so humble opinion, I'd hope before spending this much on a car someone's credit was good.

Comfort Access is a bit scary if you have little kids around that can accidentally start the car w/you around and key in pocket.

What is your actual cost of car above invoice? It's hard to tell when you have unknown tags/fees included. If I simply multiply by 0.94 for tax rate you seem to only pay less than $800 over invoice? Also invoice price came out to be $40,095 w/your configuration.

Which dealer is this? Is this off the lot or special order?

Hi Firebird,
Thanks for the quick reply. I am single, so no kids to botch with the comfort access. We have a 6 percent tax, so from my calculations it seems like 580 or so above invoice, give or take a few bucks. Motor Vehicle here is for 4 yrs between 290-330, and doc fee ranges between 100-200. I have been negotiating out the door prices rather than car+fees+TTL in order to not get screwed by them tacking on additional fees. I have attempted to break it down compared to the other responses I have received:
40,445 car (figuring 550 over invoice, might be slighly off)
2426 tax (6%)
138 doc
320 mv (we pay for all 4 years at registration, this is why it is so high)

Again these numbers may be slighly off one way or the other, but they are pretty close to accurate I think.

This is from Denville BMW. I have been getting the best responses from Denville, Difeo, and Prestige. I e-mailed around 20 dealers, and only have heard back from 10. This is for a car to be ordered. I am going in on Saturday to sign the papers unless I get a better deal.

Thanks for your help, and please let me know if you have any info on the tire and wheel hazard plan.

Regards,
Matt

I looked into that 2.9% financing with BMWFS....

It's only for the "Central" region, which extends are far east as Ohio (and a very small piece of PA); as north as Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota; as south as Kentucky; as west as Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri.

It's definitely not fair that they don't offer that everywhere else!
