My 2004 325i lease is about to come up. I am paying $492 a month and it was on a 2 year lease with 15K miles, no money down, taxes included. My original sticker was around $37000 Does anyone know how much A $37000 325i will be on a lease now? Same parameters, 24 month, taxes rolled in, except I would do 12K a year. I keep seeing advertised the same deal I was on in 2004 at about $30 more a month, equipped the same was the base car was equipped back then.

Replying to: salraf (Jan 13, 2006 12:29 am) Dealers will typically mark up the money factor the maximum amount allowed (.0004).. But, you should always insist on the base rates... |

In the Charlotte area... 325i Metallic paint Automatic Premium Sat Prep $34,886 is the deal agreed on ($36,320 MSRP) But 3 year lease with $0 down (first month's payment, taxes and everything, but no additional $$s), 36 months and 12K miles is $532 per month plus taxes. He told me residual was 64%. I was happy with the overal price $34,886 (4% over invoice), but he started playing games on the lease pricing..."sorry our first price we quoted you, we used the wrong residual, so that number isn't valid"...blah, blah. I walked out after 90 minutes of negotiations...not that I think he was too far off the price, but that he played enough games where I was in a position of feeling he was playing games to get the pricing up. Right or wrong, it was time to leave. Anyway, what do you all think? And thanks to all for the advice on leasing versus buying given my scenario. That was helpful. |
