| Asked for quotes from P+W, Rahal & Sewickley BMW dealerships in Pittsburgh, PA. Paid $700 over edmund's dealer invoice + MACO/prep&mats (total of these = $444.15) on 06 330XI, 6 speed,premium,sport,heated seats from Rahal BMW in Pittsburgh PA (final deal = $40,305.15 plus tax/plate fee). Told my initial offer of $800 over invoice was "stupid" by salesman at P+W BMW (this from a salesman/dealership where I have bought 5 cars in 10 years-needless to say they won't see me again). Sewickley BMW, where I've also bought a number of cars in the past, was not very aggressive in pursuing deal (for instance they underbid initial Rahal counter-offer by only $4). Very happy with deal, especially with responsiveness of sales personnel at Rahal BMW. | |

Which dealer is it? Thanks. P.S. I tried to get a get a deal for 330i for above package at open road bmw for 39500 (OTD) but was unsuccessful.

| I am in the process of buying a 330xi with automatic transmission, cold weather package, premium package, satellite radio prep, and standard colors. I have heard back from a few dealers-both about $1500 over invoice. Good deal or can I do better in this part of the country? Also, how much pressure are they under to sell cars this time of the month and year. | |

Please pardon my ignorance - this is my first post, and I'm hoping that I've included all the pertinent information. I'm looking for some advice on what I should pay for the following spec w/ European Deliver in the DC area: 2006 325i Premium Package Sport Package Steptronic Cold Weather Package Xenon Headlights Comfort Access MSRP is $40,145 and Invoice is $36,825 As mentioned above, I plan to do Eurpean Delivery on this, so I'm thinking that the ED Invoice should be around $34248 (From what I understand, ED saves about 7%). If anyone can tell me how much over invoice I should expect to pay, and any dealers in the DC area that are good to work with, I'd appreciate the help.

Replying to: jcflorie (Dec 25, 2005 5:23 pm) Lot of great info there. BTW ED invoice on your specs is $35855 including the $695 destination charge. You didn't mention the color though. Add another $430 for metallic paint. $700-$1000 over invoice is a good price.

Hi all. I'm new to the BMW shopping scene, so I'll ask forgiveness in advance if some of this repeated questions. I've been looking at certified used 325i's in the Portland, OR area. One of the local dealerships has some pretty nice looking ones, but the prices seem a little high. I know that the resale on 325i's are supposed to be excellent, but with the 2006's being entirely redesigned, I would have figured the resale value would have been hurt a little. Could someone take a few minutes to look at these offerings and tell me what a reasonable price might be? These prices seem to be atleast 3-5k off base. 2005 325i 18k This one list for the same price it would have cost new, according to edmunds (31-33k) 2004 325i 12k Looks like a nice low-mileage 2004 with alot of options. Price again seems high. 2003 325i 21k Seems like the best deal of the 3, but still seems a little high. Thanks in advance for any help! Chris

Replying to: chris_pdx (Dec 27, 2005 12:04 pm) Remember to factor in the CPO warranty (6 years from original purchase date or 100k miles) as added value, especially considering the dealer paid BMW between $600-$1500 just to get the CPO status. If you are planning on financing, consider the 2003 has 3.9% for up to 60 months through BMWFS. (No special rates for 04 or 05.) Just giving you some food for thought... |

06 330xi premium steptronic cold weather sirius prep green metallic 44070 MSRP 40395 Invoice I offered 41000 Dealer responded e-mail - that is not unreasonable, which sounds like a sales tactic to me. I think the 41 would be a great deal if I can get it, anybody doing any better than this...
