I have run the numbers for a 325i lease. Using the residual of 77%, money factor of .0025. A MSRP 34365 24 month lease, 10000 miles. I offered to pay monthly approx 370 that included the 6.6% sales tax. They come back with this 480 number!!. They said I must not be taking into account fees?!?! Come on. I am putting 1650 down. What am I missing if anything. . I am offering 750 over invoice or 32315> This seems so typical. He also told me that I must be getting bad information on the residual, but I believe the 77% is solid. As typical in the auto sales industry the sales rep has been trained to ignore facts, or try to confuse them and get the most money out of a person they can. Please correct me if I am wrong.
