Has anyone been offered, and/or taken advantage of BMW's delivery option at their plant in Greenville, SC? One of the NC Dealers offered this as an incentive to me...apparently, I can choose to take delivery of my 330i at the Greenville, SC site, with BMW footing the bill for 3 days of expenses for the customer to tour their site and test drive performance cars on their track --all at NO additional costs for the car. Truth or myth?

Did you have to do all this in-person or over the telephone? I did it over the phone after they responded to emails I sent through their websites. I had the whole deal worked out and spent about 15 minutes at the dealership just to sign the paperwork.

I had the whole deal worked out and spent about 15 minutes at the dealership just to sign the paperwork. Strange, I emailed BMW Mountain View days ago and received no response at all, the email to BMW Fremont resulted in a cheeky response "We do business for a profit...". At that time I was probably pushing it too far (no MACO/security deposit). I called BMW Mountain View this evening for a 330i, proposed $750 over invoice (I even included $280 MACO in the invoice) and standard BMW Financial Money Factor/Acquisition. The salesperson I spoke to wasn't able to get the deal approved by the manager on duty (claims of no profit). I mentioned that other people online have been offered that deal. He claims he's going to check with some other managers in the morning and call me back. We'll see what happens. I'm not sure if this forum supports private messaging, if it does, can you PM me the names of the folks at both Mountain View and Fremont? Thanks! |

Replying to: luv2run (Nov 21, 2005 9:31 pm) Quick but important question: Does your definition of "invoice" include MACO/Training at all? If so, how much? Thanks! Try Fremont BMW, I was able to get $750 over invoice on a 325i(sport and premium), plus buy rate money factor. They wouldn't budge on the acquisition fee though. Mountain View BMW was going to, but I didn't want to undercut Fremont BMW for just $200. The person I dealt with there was really cool and helpful.
