Just drove the sport 330i and the std 330i. The sport has a better feel of the road and handles sharper. The difference in stiffness was not felt much by me or my wife. A slight difference but nothing we could noticeably tell. The car has great pickup and sounds awesome when punching the accelerator. The steptronic is easy to use. The sport seats were a bit smaller since I am a big guy but nothing to defer me from getting the sport pack. Tell me if this is a good deal: Sparkling Graphite Metallic Automatic, Htd Seats, BMW Assist, Sport Package MSRP 41,895 Price Paid 40, 095 .63 residual, .00225 MF $5000 out of pocket for taxes, cap cost red, first month, sec deposit, title & reg. Monthly Pmt 483.94. Thanks. Cant wait till it arrives in early December!

When it gets off the transport the customer is notified, it's PDI'd (serviced) and detailed .... usually as an average, the dealer is looking at 48/72 hrs by the time the customer gets time off work and they get their final $$ ... and you would be **amazed** how many times a customer will have a personal check, credit card or something of unacceptable means that the dealer has to wait for ..... I understand, and "you" understand that you're going to spend $35k ... but the dealer only see's $500 of it .. but you want the dealer to make $500 - and then pay his service, sales staff and the lights ..... think about it, how often would you do it..? .... Terry.

Replying to: chipzar (Oct 09, 2005 12:52 pm) I can accept calls through the bluetooth in the car, but I can't dial out unless it's from the phone and my address book will not download. Did your dealer have to get special instuctions to hook yours up? Would you mind sharing whatever your dealer did to get yours up and running? Thanks so much, clborl |

You say you have a cap cost reduction involved, but you don't say how much.. It looks like about $1500 of it went to a cap cost reduction.. That said, you got an $1800 discount from MSRP, and the dealer is using the base rates (we think)... I always like to roll the taxes and fees into the lease... but, if there is nothing extra in your deal, it looks fair.. regards, kyfdx Host-Prices Paid Forums

5k down is quite a bit for a lease. You do realize if that car gets totalled or stolen the day after you take ownership of it you're out that dough? Part of the draw of leasing - you've got no capital tied up in the leased vehicle.

Just wondering how other people in this area are doing on their deals. I was quoted $1K off sticker from West German as an opening offer, but I know I can do better. Is anyone getting down to roughly $1500 above invoice? Thanks in advance!!! Also, when do the November MF and Residuals come out? Anyone have any thoughts on whether they will better, the same, or worse than October? RE
