This is a great forum! I have been reading for about two weeks now. Can anyone out there help me on the following car: 2006 325i Steptronic Premium package Xenon Satellite Radio Prep Metallic paint What should I pay for this car? My local dealer in Lancaster, PA (Faulkner BMW) says they will only discount $1000 off MSRP. I know I should get a better deal elsewhere. I am willing to travel. Plese help. Thanks in advance.

| I found this to be a great forum. This was my first opportunity to buy ANY automobile online. Last week I was able to buy a 2006 325 i with metallic paint, power seats, automatic transmission and satellite radio prewire for 32,390 before tax and fees. My dealership was Stevens Creek BMW (Santa Clara, CA) and I cannot say enough good words in how professional and efficient the internet team was. Two thumbs up! | |

Replying to: zman9 (Oct 17, 2005 8:14 pm) You can do better than $2k over invoice depending on where you're located. I'd keep looking.

Replying to: calif65gm (Oct 17, 2005 10:01 pm) Thanks for your reply. The price I mentioned is before taxes. My dealer is reluctant to budge from the price quoted. Even the TMV mentioned in Edmunds.com is more than what I am getting here. I am located in the Lehigh Valley in PA.

Replying to: zman9 (Oct 18, 2005 6:24 am) I think you could've gotten a better deal.... I just ordered a 330xi Titanium Metallic Silver with the following options: Premium Package Cold Weather Package Auto Nav for 45,000 OTD....I still think I could've gotten better had I been more patient

Replying to: hbilly (Oct 13, 2005 6:57 pm) APA has a "broker" in Montreal, but just offered $1K off MSRP for a 330i from a Montreal dealer. Dealfinders.org did much better - I got the same deal Bob (Dealfinders) got, though (in Ottawa). Cheers. |

I am new to the car buying experience and I have been obtaining quotes from various dealers in the Atlanta, GA area to see what is the best deal that I can get. Therefore, here is one quote that I received. I think this is a an awful deal, but I some insight on what price I should be negotiating for given the options I have specified. Thank you. Specifications: 330i - Metallic Paint - Leather interior- Premium package - sport package - comfort access - heated seats - aluminum trim. Quote: MSRP: 43,270.00 - OTD = $40,989.20(plus,tag,title,sales tax and doc fees) 36 month lease/30,000 miles total (10k); Due at signing: $1732.00 (includes security deposit, tag, tax, title, doc fee and 1st month payment) Monthly Payment: $577.00 (plus sales tax per month) Help! What kind of deal should I be looking for? |
