7k downpayment (includes 1st month's pay), (385 per month + tax)

I believe this is a lot

So what is a lot, the payments or 7K down payment?

Do not forget your credit score, affects your Money factor which I'm sure if high. The rule behind leasing is, use other people money, save some money and do not use all of the 7K. But I'm tihnking your low credit score is going to affect anything you buy...

Hello all, question to the experts. What percentage off MSRP is fair or percentage off invoice should I be looking at to buy outright (no lease or financing) a new 3 series? Looking at mineral grey color plus premium and cold weather packages MSRP is $43,995.00 (invoice $40,680) , including $850 destination. I am not looking to absolutely steal the car but don't want to get robbed either. A couple of hundred here and there is ok. The dealer I am dealing with is in Massachusetts. Thanks! Going to pull the plug on this very soon.

#11780 of 11958 2009 328i CPO 28k miles for $22k-right price? by ashjaw

I am looking to purchase a 2009 328i CPO w/ 28k miles non-metallic color and leatherette. no additional options. dealer has listed the price at $22,200. This will be my 1st BMW purchase.
Is that a fair price? do you think I have room for negotiation? if yes, what would be a fair price to pay?
I am in no hurry to purchase so I can wait until end of year. usually by year end, does the price of CPO vehicles drop similar to new cars?

Are you sure there are no options on this car? 4 Dr or 2Dr, Manuel or Auto?

Kelly Blue Book says this car (assuming it is a 4 door) is worth 26K. BMW dealers are pretty good about pricing their CPO cars, so not too sure why there is a 4K difference..

#11784 of 11958 2012 Discount? by monacodk

Nov 07, 2012 (7:02 pm)

Went into my dealer looking at 2013 328i sedan. Dealer has a brand new 2012 328i; premium package, technology, metallic paint, backup sensor that he is pushing.

How much discount should I expect on a 2012 being that it is a) the previous model year and b) the previous body style compared to the 2013s?

Thanks

Carman,

I had the same thing happen and my question is this: is there a difference between the residual or money factor between the '12 and '13? And any additional discounts?

BTW, for the above question, the '12 and '13 sedans are pretty much the same.

Sounds like its a 2013 335i.? I just purchased a 2013 335i 4 door last Thursday. I checked the rebates and found if you BMW finance a minimum of $7,500 you receive a $750 credit. Found out you only need to make 3 payments than can pay off without a penalty or loosing the 750.00 credit. I also received 1,000.00 credit due to the new loyalty program that came out last Monday for previous BMW owners. I also received a 1.000 credit for becoming a member of USAA auto insurance. Dont need to buy the insurance just sign up to be a free member. I will probably check there rates and if a substantial savings will switch to USAA as my show of loyalty. Bottom line i received $2,750 in credits off my best negoated price. the discounts do not come off the dealers profit.
