Thanks for the reply.
I drove the 2011/12 335i, 2011 335xi and 2011 328i. Never got around to the 2012 328i but heard it was good. Liked the engine on the 2011 328 but 335i was night and day...I ended up preferring the 2011 335i to the 2012 because I think the interior looks cleaner, nav better integrated. Steering also felt a little sharper compared to 2012.
Was trying to decide between 2011 335i and S4, but the Audi was 12k more new, similarly equipped.
Ended up with silver/black 335i with premium /sport /nav /cold /assist /apps /ipod
Purchase $43,165 (had them throw in floor mats and a BMW scooter for my 2 year old)
Look forward to going to work each morning now

rfthomas....congrats. You got a really good deal. I have an '11 335i xDrive coupe, equipped similarly to yours (mine has Harman Kardon and Comfort Access, too). I paid about $2k more than you did for it about a year ago, however. You got a smoking deal. They really are phenomenal cars.
My GF and I just jointly bought a 2013 S4. We love it, too.
We feel fortunate that we're able to park two very nice vehicles in our garage.
Best of luck on yours.

Jun 24, 2012 (8:50 am)
Research over a month with several dealers in Los Angeles, received a quote for F30 with Technology Package at Invoice. Plan to finance with my credit union at 1.9% for 60 months
MSRP: $38,345+ Dest + TTL
Invoice: $35,925 + Dest + TTL
Missed the Team USA event. Not able to find other BMW incentive/rebate programs. Would there be any last minute July 4 promotion?
Is this a good deal to pull the trigger?

Just placed my order for a 2013 328i.
Power rear shade/manual side shades
Price BEFORE Team USA Voucher, USAA credit and BMWCCA rebate: 42400
Lease price with 7 MSDs and 12k miles a year should be about ~$450 a month.
No out of pocket beyond acquisition fee/doc fee.
#11671 of 12225 Munich Delivery
Jul 08, 2012 (6:07 am)
Hi planning to get a 2012 328i in next couple of months.
1. Is it worth waiting for 2013 328i , would there be significant updates to already very exciting 2012 328i.
2. Really appreciate if someone can throw light on Munich delivery experience and details.
3. I intend to purchase on an auto loan, so wondering how does German delivery work.
4. In case I decide on local dealer delivery, can I customise and place an order on bmwusa.com and collect it from dealer, can I still expect any dealer discount .
#11672 of 12225 2006 BMW 330i w/ Navigation
Jul 08, 2012 (6:45 am)
I am considering purchasing a 2006 BMW 330i with Nav. It has 85K miles and seems to be in good condition. The guy is asking $13,250 as his last and final price. What do you guys think of the deal?
Run Flat Tires can cause for a bumpy ride
The 335i came out a year later (2007) and might make resale of my 330i harder in the future
2013 BMWs are out in 8 weeks and will make value of this car drop
What type of big maintenance costs should I anticipate in the near future?
All of your thoughts/comments/suggestions are much appreciated.

there are many people who will say that the 2006 330 was the last of the "good" 3 series. Don't worry about the 2013's they wont effect the price as much as you think.
Are you shopping for price or the best deal?

Run-flats: The newer replacement run-flats are reported to have a much better ride than the older OEM tires.. Plus, you can always switch to non-runflats, if they bother you..
'06 330i sedan.. The best naturally-aspirated inline six that BMW ever put into a non-M 3-series... and, it was only available on the '06 model! 255 HP... that's a plus, not a negative..
2013 model... the older the car, the less the model changeover means to value.... Cars are always depreciating.. It won't drop suddenly when the new car becomes available in September..
What could happen? It's a six year old car with 85K miles.... the same things that could happen to any car of that age.. Are you buying from an individual that has service records? How well a car is maintained is important..

Awesome blueguydotcom! Congrats! I know you've got very specific tastes when it comes to how a car drives, so you must have been impressed. Won't you join us over on ENTRY LEVEL LUXURY PERFORMANCE SEDANS & tell us what you think of the F30 328i's driving dynamics.
