The 2007 328 xi (both coupe and sedan) carry a wholesale value of 45% of MSRP with that kind of mileage. Keep in mind this is a four year old vehicle and finding a sub-40K mileage 328 will be tough.
BMWs are rarely leased for four years....it is generally a bad idea given the residuals assigned by BMWFS on 4 year leases. Three years is the widely accepted norm. Four year old BMWs are out of warranty and free maintenance....hence the residuals plummet on year four.
Hope this helps....

Been negotiating with 2 dealers today.
Any feedback is appreciated ?
one dealer is quoting $634 per month now on a 36month lease at 12k per year. $1430 down which includes 1st months payment.
Vehicle is a demo with 1000 miles on it.
Car is loaded, sport, premium, convenience, navigation, iPod, satellite radio.
Car also has a H&K stereo with it. Sapphire black with oyster interior.
Dealer sent me video of car and it has a $599 special on it so doesn't look like they are doing anything above and beyond to move it?
Selling the car for $48,500 before the $1500 incentive.
Dealer #2 who has same car minus convenience package and H&K stereo
They have asked me to name a price to get a deal done by 12/31. They are aware of the 1st deal above.
Any thoughts from anyone ?
Thanks

Hi! My lease ends in one month. I like my BMW 328xi 2008. I would like to finance the car through their BMW dealer, but I don't think I will be able to negotiate with them in reducing the residual value($22,478.50), I'm planning to hire Autoadvisor.com for $787 to negotiate a deal for me. Does anyone think this is a good idea or not? Please let me know. I will appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you
Maritza

The dealer doesn't set the residual amount. You need to negotiate with the lease-holder.

by mikezat
Dec 29, 2010 (1:09 pm)
I just leased a new 2011 328i sedan made in S. Africa. The mechanic at the dealership took the included tools out to attach a license plate frame to the bumper. I have a feeling that he pocketed some of the tools. I googled and searched bmwusa.com web site to see what should come with the car but found nothing.
Can anyone please let me know what came with your new 2011 328i sedan?
Many thanks in advance

#11274 of 11920 Quote for a 328i

Hi All,
I am in the Chicagoland area and am looking at purchasing a 2011 328i automatic transmission with Value package and some additional frills like moon roof, anti theft alarm, keyless entry, metallic paint and BMW assist with bluetooth. I have been offered a quote of 36500 which excludes title, registration, some documentation fee. So on the road it comes to ~40000. The price includes the holiday discount and some dealer incentive
Is this a good deal or should I expect more? Bit of an urgency here since the holiday pricing will effectively expire tomorrow. Any insights would be appreciated
Best Regards

I hope you are not charged extra for moon roof and BMW Assist. I am not aware of any 328i sedans without these. Metallic paint is around $480 more.
Bluetooth is probably optional though I suspect it became standard on 2011. Make sure you get the smoker's package as the retard who designed interior on my 2011 328i put power socket under the glove compartment on the passenger side. The other socket is under the armrest in that small space which means you need to lift your arm, open the armrest and put your cell phone in there. BTW, there is no space for regular charger in the compartment under the armrest – you need to get a low profile one.
My leased car came at $39100 MSRP with metallic paint, moon roof, BMW Assist with Bluetooth, power memory seats, leather interior, self dimming mirrors, power doors/windows etc. So you need to figure out how much more for keyless entry and alarm.
Why are you buying? Lease the sucker. All the repairs/maintenance after its warranty expires gonna cost you arm+leg+first born.
#11276 of 11920 Am I being offered a fair price for 2011 328i sedan?

I am trying to buy (2.9% financing for 60 months) a 2011 328i sedan but since I am new to buying cars, I have no idea if what is being offered is a rip-off or not. At one dealership, I am being offered an automatic transmission and moonroof with a holiday credit all totaling $34,250. After taxes and DMV fees, it comes out to $38,061. At another dealership, I was offered an automatic transmission with an alarm thrown in (no moonroof) with a holiday credit totaling $33,720. After taxes and DMV fees, it comes out to $37,230. Can anyone help me and tell if any of these are fair prices or if I am just being played? Thanks for your help!
