I just received the following lease. This appears to be a good deal. I didn't put any money down except for the normal inception fees which was around $1200 (bank acquisition fees and DMV fees). I received around $5,000 cap cost reduction which was made up of around $3K of rebates and $2K to get the car off the lot due to high inventory). Does this sound okay to anyone else?

Monthly payments: $525
Money down: ZERO (besides acquisition fees, dmv fees, etc.)
Lease terms: 36 months with 10K per month.

This sounds to me like a good deal if the lease is for 10k miles/year, and an outstanding deal if for 10k miles/month. I am also assuming that the cap reduction was $5000 off the MSRP. For my recent lease, I received a cap reduction of $5500 off MSRP on a similarly equipped 328xi. On 2009 3-series, most dealers are at invoice or a bit below below before any BMW FS incentives

You may want to check the Money Factor in the lease, because there are many ways it can be used to increase the monthly lease payment while lowering the drive-off costs. For example, the MF currently on this car is 0.00135, but BMW FS allows dealers to add up to 0.0004 to this number. The more the dealer adds, the less down payment they would require. Also, you could forgo paying an initial security deposit if you agree to increase the MF by 0.00015.

Good deal. I'm also in the same market. Which dealer did you use?

Did I get a good deal? I am worried about the upcoming depreciation in 3 weeks!
2009 BMW 335i w/ AWD (x-drive)
Options:
Cold Weather
Premium
Automatic
+Dealer installed Ipod interface ($520)
+Window tint
+all weather mats, cargo liner
Total price $46000 even +TTL etc
Anyone have an idea what kind of depreciation this will take in 12-24 months from now?

Thanks!

Was this a 4 door or coupe? I'm looking to lease the same if it's a coupe and am wondering about what I should pay vs MSRP.

Hi djhitman3am,

We are also interested in a 2007 CPO 328xi to take advantage of BMW's 0.9% finance offer. Could you let us know where is the dealership and if possible, their name?

Hmm, we are kind of lost in searching CPO as well. Could you share your experience like which website?

Thank you so much!

Well your 09 would have fewer miles than most other 09s in say a year. If you can get a better deal on the 09 take it.

Most people 24 months from now IMO will be looking for the 2010 1/2 mid year refresh if they are in the market for a used 10.

I have no issues with the sound coming from the 335d... I grew up in mother's diesel MBZ which was loud (good as a kid because you knew when mom was coming around the bend).

I love this car... just wish it was a station wagon.

Thanks to all who read this. Headed out to dealer tomorrow to see this car:

2009 328xi
Space Gray with Black Leather
Premium and Climate Packages
IPOD adapter and smartphone integration (won't use either)
17 inch wheels
Dealer courtesy car with 7,000 miles

MSRP $43,700
Edmunds TMV (assuming no mileage): $39,841
Dealer's over the phone offer: $37,850

What should my offer be after the test drive, where should I end up?

Also, will the warranty begin the day I purchase or has it already begun to toll?

The warranty started when they put the car in service, as a demo.. They can tell you exactly when that was..

I wouldn't make an offer on this car. You can probably get a brand new 2010 equipped the same way for not much more than that asking price. The MSRP will be lower. Good luck.
