| I am aware of not allow to sell online later begin of Nov, so dealers are pulling them off from the web. These dealers can sell them over the phone in same cheaper price though. | |

Hello everyone, First off, thank you for allowing me to be a part of this super forum. Secondly I have a question about my Honda in regards to body damage. I purchased my Honda used about three months ago with a Honda CARE warranty. I just recently took it for a road trip to realize that my front bumper had been repainted. There were numerous locations where the paint was chipping on the front passenger half. I contacted the dealer where the vehicle was bought and was told too bad. So, am I honestly out of luck or do I have an possibility of getting this repaired. If you have any information regarding this please let me know. Thanks, Robert

I also called another local delearship and got the quote for 8yr/100,000 about $1800. (At this point, I realize even for a local dealership and even I didn't buy the car from them, they can give me a quote less than $2095 and for a better coverage. I felt very upset about my orignall dealership). However, the originall dealership said that I can tell them the price and they can try to match, so I called on the next day. I didn't mention the quote of $1800 from another dealship, but I mentioned the $940 price and tried to see how she reacted. Surprisingly, although she said she couldn't match the online price, but she could give me the employee price which is $1180 for 8yr/100,000 or $1295 for 8yr/120,000, both are 0 deductible!!! I cannot believe this when the price comes out from her mouth, although I was very angry that she tried to make so much profit on it. (this totally ruins my impression on them.) This might not be the best price I can get, but I feel more comfortable to buy from the original dealership since I might need the service from them in the future. (I don't want to break the relationship with them.) So I still decided to buy the VSC from them. Finally, I really appreciate the information provided by everyone. It was almost $900 savings for me!!

So, I just purchased a new Honda Pilot and I'm looking for an extended warranty. I went to the hondacareextendedwarranty.com site, which had the best prices, but they won't sell to California residents. Where can I get the best deal? Thanks for any help!!! I'm so glad I didn't bite when I bought the car. The woman acted like she was giving me a great deal for 6/80,000 at $1600. What a joke. |
