I had them mail my warranty to my address in Washington. You can do it that way, if you catch my drift......when the warranty is sold, American Honda will have to honor it - it does not matter where it came from.     If you don't want to go that route - try Honda World in Downey, Ca.. Replying to: krh294 (Feb 06, 2009 7:52 pm) Are Oil Changes covered up to $25 with the warranty?   As the sample contract says Section D & E only applies to Sentinel Services. I don't know exactly what Sentinel is, but it is not apart of the typical Honda Care and so oil changes would not be covered.

Replying to: krh294 (Feb 06, 2009 7:56 pm) With the rear veiw camera being displayed in the 09 EX-L non navi Odyssey would that be covered?   Yes, see section A of the sample contract on myhondawarranty.com.   http://www.myhondawarranty.com/Honda_Care_Warranty_Sample.pdf   It mentions computers, electronics and navigation devices (of which I think is used to display the video from the rear camera.)

I believe they only restrict sales to Florida.   Also, when you get an online quote, be sure to check your email for a promo code that is another $95 less than the quoted price. Not cars sold in California. If you have a legal mailing address in another state, then the selling dealer can sell to you regardless of where you bought the car.   As far as they know, you recently moved there, or you just went to California to buy the car because you got a good deal.   As I said, yesterday, if you check curryhondacare.com, you may be able to buy as a California resident without having to worry about a different address.

I will be picking up my car 09 Accord EX-L V6 for 28.6 plus tax, title, and license, next week and was wondering about the extended warranty. A 6 year / 75k mile warranty was $1185 + tax but is fully refundable if I don't make a claim against it. Doesn't seem like I have much to lose if I decide to get it, except for the interest I would have earned. I visited the online dealer's website, the one involved in the lawsuit, and saw it was much cheaper, but I don't know if they offer a full refund if the warranty is unused. Replying to: ryo998 (Feb 09, 2009 1:28 pm) I also bought mine in Hemet, Ca (north of SD) - none of the SoCal dealer will match the online price so I bought one from Bernardi....got the contract and cards 2 weeks later...my Dad had to mail me the contract booklet from Wa to my place in SoCal.   It does not matter where you bought the car....   You might want to buy the EW soon....Honda is about to shut down all internet EW sale.
