">Does anyone know why the crossfire roadster has such a poor resale value . I have a 2005 Roadster with 18000 miles never seen snow . I went to a car dealer to purchase a Charger and they would only offer me 13000 $ for it . I paid alot more than that . I was told that is all they are getting at the Whole seller .   Is this a dealer scam or does these Crossfire's loose exsessive bucks after we bought them . Does anyone know why the Crossfire has losty so much on it's value . I looked at trading my Raodster in , 18000 miles 05 and I was told that the whole sale price was 13000 dollars . The trade in is 20,000 . Replies to this message: de77 (Dec 09, 2007 1:49 pm)

Replying to: xerxes1 (Dec 09, 2007 8:52 am) The crossfire tanks in price...in 04 new the minute they were released, they were 45K withen a month the were 32K, I had a new one had 6K miles and sold it 6 months later for 22K, they tank bad, I bought my current on for 13K, just put a new engine in under warranty...so let it tank now:)

My XFire Coupe started to tick, Not the normal benz sound, but a tick, they pulled my engine apart and changed the lifters put it all back together and the tick was still there, Now waiting for a new engine,,,, 34 days later car is still in the shop, hoping to come back next week,Lucky my Powertran warranty picked up the new engine....please be aware of this as a few others have the same thing"> Replies to this message: crossfireman (Jul 27, 2008 6:20 am)

Dealers have probably sold more new '06 and '07 Crossfires over the last few months than were sold in the previous two years. The market is saturated. BUT WAIT...drive that car a few more years and it may be worth more than it is today.

Hello, I have a chance to purchase a new '06 untilted red crossfire with 40miles from a dealer in western pa. The msrp is $35,455.00 2 options tires and red paint. Kelley Blue Book says this 06 manual limited crossfire used is worth 21,000.00 Do you all think this is a good deal I really like the car red with silver detailing, gray leather 6- speed manual trans. My price $21,400.00 tax and plate and full tank of gas . Can I lose ten thousand in five years?
