I ended up pulling the fan motor out...not that big of a job. If you open the hood, the plastic cover over the vent intake at the ends are fluted. That's how leaves and especially pined needles in my case were able to work themselves into the fan compartment. 2) The Cabin filter is after the blower motor on the Xfire. It is easy to remove the Blower. Remove the access panel under the Glove box. 2 screws. Then you will see a square panel on the right with a couple of white or yellow latches. Unplug the wire connector next to this panel and slide these latches and the panel will come loose. The fan is directly above this panel and there are 3 or 4 screws that hold the fan in place. Remove the fan and use a shop vac or similar to vacuum out the debris. I would also change the cabin filter which is to the left under a rectangular panel with 2 white or yellow slide latches.

My Crossfire was in the shop for five days for a problem like the one you are Having. Another symptom is the fan will not shut off and some times slow down. They replace a resistor in the blower motor circuit. That seamed to fix the problem. AL

Also, what about that 5" wide strap that snaps down to the back of the passenger seat headrest? Anyone know what that is about? Lastly, I see there is an optional adjustable cargo framework that fits down in the 'trunk'. Dealer says it's about $100 but the photo isn't real clear. Does anyone have experience with these? Are they good quality? |

| I'm taken by the Crossfire in many ways. I live near Toronto , Canada and have been searching Ebay for a low milage , very clean , alabaster white, 05 Roadster. This car is new to me but I love what I see. Life is just too short to do without a special toy !!! Does anyone know of any dealers that may have what I'm searching for ? The best deals are in the USA and I'm ready to go wherever, if it's the right car . I find this forum very informative and I look forward to the day that I will be able to share some owner insight with others. | |

">Does anyone know why the crossfire roadster has such a poor resale value . I have a 2005 Roadster with 18000 miles never seen snow . I went to a car dealer to purchase a Charger and they would only offer me 13000 $ for it . I paid alot more than that . I was told that is all they are getting at the Whole seller . Is this a dealer scam or does these Crossfire's loose exsessive bucks after we bought them .
