I just purchased a 2007 Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD (white exterior and camel leather interior) for $27,201 plus $99 doc fee for a total of $27,300 OTD (McAlester, OK). Of course I still have to pay 3.75% of purchase price as Oklahoma excise tax plus $95 for tag and registration. How does this size up with other Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD deals out there? |

Our Internet price on this vehicle is $25,998 plus $99 processing fee, any options, freight, taxes and tags. Our price is good for 7 days and in stock units." I followed up with a request for a quote with the DVD. This is a snip from their reply: "The price for the EX-L with DVD is $27,416 plus $99 processing fee, any options, freight, taxes and tags. Again the price is good for in stock units and for 7 days." Hope this helps. |

(No use in trying just to get underbid by 50 or matched again). If you have a trade try to hold out for kbb or edmunds outstanding for a newer vehicle. Helps that you have two who matched to work with. Good luck --jjf just got a quote from O'Hare Honda for a 07 Pilot EX-L AWD -- $26007 (includes dest fee). A handful of other area dealerships said they couldn't beat it (including Continental), and I think Castle Honda also matched this price. That was it. Is this a good deal? Do I keep looking, or just buy? If I buy, what's the next step to make sure there are no surprises when closing the deal?

| I am wondering how some people were able to get price quotes so low. Could it be that some dealers are overstocked to the point that they are selling them $4000 or more below invoice?? The best offers I've seen are $3500 off invoice in the NY/NJ area. | |

It's definitely tough in the Seattle area to hit these prices I've seen in this forum. The local dealer in Eastern, WA wouldn't move below $30,300 (and acted like the incentive deal didn't exist) for an EX-L w/o NAV or RES.

Replying to: jillyrene (Jul 13, 2007 7:35 pm) --jjf Thanks!! I've gotten an OTD price with a breakdown of fees by email. But now I'm concerned about all these add-ons I'm reading about. Since the dealer has to get my particular color from somewhere else--should he still be able to fax over this VIN info, etc. ? I want this OTD price I got to be it. Not a penny more. Isn't that what OTD means?! |
