Replying to: jeepvan (Feb 15, 2007 12:50 pm) Option: rear mud splash + trunk cover (1/2 price of msrp) at Cleo Bay Honda in Kileen, Texas. I chosed to finance 0.9%/3year so need to add $1500. Also Gunn Honda in San Antonio give the same price but would not budge on Option price. The manager was pushing me to buy, that also not a good move for him. I like to do it in my own term.

Go to one of these sites: http://www.hondacuraworld.com/ http://www.hondapartsdeals.com/ http://www.collegehillshonda.com/ Those will have prices well under MSRP. If you can install yourself, just order them. If you need the dealer to install, you'll pay steep labor, but at least make them match the price of the part. Chris |

Replying to: pks222 (Feb 17, 2007 8:21 am) MSRP $36040 Paid $30,400 + TTL at 4.9% for 60 months Went in to buy a regular EX-L for 28,400 but since they are honoring the special financing along with the dealer cash for the President's day sale, figured why not splurge on the NAV. KBB trade in value on a similar 2006 model is only 1K less. I did not really intend on buying a new car for awhile, but this deal is too good to pass up.

Replying to: beachbum2 (Feb 17, 2007 2:36 pm) $28,500 plus TTL with .9 financing and a free iPod Music Link This was a dealer mistake though. When I was quoted the $28,500 number I specifically got it in writing that the $1,500 cash back was not included and I could get the .9 financing. The salesman put it writing and then handed me off to another salesman to close the deal later that day. They told me later that the price quoted was with the $1500 cash back but the decided to eat the mistake rather than see me leave pissed (which I would have since I specially asked about it). Anyway, sounds like I got a good deal. Also I decided to buy new because after looking around for a few weeks it seemed impossible to buy a low mileage '06 and even if I could with the .9 financing the cost for the new model was just about the same over the life of the loan. |
