I did not get the car yet. However, the initial offer was 26995 + TTL for EX-L 2WD. This is January price but I think it should be same now since they have 1500 rebate going on. I'm still waiting to see if there will be a better deal. Good luck!

Hi Chandler111

I cannot do that because the contract includes some of personal information. The contract I signed was on Saturday, Jan 20th. The sales rep was Justin Schmid. I picked my car on Monday afternoon.

If they deny they sold the car to me at this price, I think they probably don't want to sell it at that low price anymore. You might either buy it at a price as low as you can get, or wait for a better time.

Good luck

soxfanz - thanks for the update. It looks like the best deal I have gotten so far is $29,644 out the door pricing on the 2007 EX-L 4wd model. I have gotten a couple of other offers close to that. I talked to someone else up at the dealership where you got your SUV and they got down to to about $29,650. Both of these already include the $1500 cash back in the deal. They have promised to send a buyers/purchase order as soon as I reserve the car, so that I have the deal in my hand and can bring a check for that exact amount and not get into the whole scene at the dealership where they try to change the price! Thanks again for your information - the knowledge you shared has helped me to get down to a much lower price than I thought possible.

I have been following this thread for a couple of weeks now but did not see much information about the cost of extended warranty.

What do you guys think about extended warranty on an EXL 4WD NAV and how much are you guys getting this for?

Thanks,

Alfredo!

chandler111,
those quotes look VERY similar to what I've experienced, $1,500 rebate, EXL AWD w/Navi: $29,844/$29,644 BUT before fees and taxes. You said OTD, are you sure on that?

A rep from Boch Honda left me a message (she was asking if I was still looking for a Pilot) saying that they are going to have a huge sale starting from Friday, Feb. 16th, through President Day. You might want to wait for a few days or ask them now and see if you can get a better deal.

dickf2- the price quoted to me on a 2007 Pilot 4WD EX-L (no naviagation or DVD player) was $28,658, which included freight/destination, wheel locks, pinstripe, and mudflaps. The tax was $859.74 and the fees (lein, registrationn, tags, etc) was going to be $127, which totals up to OTD of $29,644.74. This is a quote out of Baltimore. I am going to go with my local dealer, his best price is $29,700 OTD just so I won't have to drive all the way to Baltimore. I think that I might wait for the weekend, as soxfanz indicated they might run a President's Day weekend sale to see if I can get an even better price.

That sounds very possible. I was quoted about $28,300 (before TTL) on a AWD EX-L. Of course, that was in GA, where I suspect AWD is not as popular.

I ended up buying a 2WD EX-L for $27,000. But I'm drooling over your apparent low taxes -- I had to pay 7 percent!
