This message is for soxfanz. The price you got for the 2007 Pilot EX-L was $26,800. Does that include the $1,500 discount? I am assuming that is before tax and title.

How did you negotiate this price? That looks like $2,700 less then the consumer reports bottom line price. I would really like to hear from you. Thanks

That is very good advice. These Web forums will make you pathological if you're not careful.

well, I like trophy hunts. that's the way america works! haha, you've seen all those people queue up outside stores on black friday night? well, Los angeles times reports that this is more likened to the caveman mentality, its like bringing home the hunt. so hunt away, i say, its human nature. and, do your homework, you can save a lot of money, just don't be sad someone got it cheaper than you after you bought it. cause we all know its gonna happen.

Central New Jersey Pricing:
2007 Pilot EX-L 4WD RES
MSRP: 35,440
Invoice: 31,968 (which includes 595 des. charge)
Our price: 30,400 (which includes 595 des. charge, not tax, not title, not reg.)
so about 5,000 off MSRP and includes RES which you did not have.

Car buying/selling is very psychological. Due to forums like this, a great deal of all of those aspects can be identified. Some people hunt, some gather, and some wait for the big killers to finish eating and then pick the carcass clean with little effort involved. I agree (and expected and encouraged) that someone will be getting better deals than me. And I LOVE hunting for the best deal too, But in the spirit of these forums EVERYONE should gather information, make the kill, and share the tips and tricks that make your deal unique.

pilot prices in N. Florida by pks222

I went to 2 dealers in my area for a bottom $ on a 2wd EXL while they had these deals with interest rate going. The best I could get after sparring with the sales manager was $28,750 + tax, tag and I could get the interest. I also found out about the extended warranty problem in FL before purchase which really gives me pause on buying another Honda.
Has any one got any ideas on price or EW solutions? Thanks

soxfanz - is there any chance that you could email me the offer or sales contract for your 2007 EX-L AWD Pilot? The price you negotiated is $1675 better than anything I have gotten. All the people I have worked with promise to match anything that I can show them, but that means I need your help!!! Anything you can do would be great!

tom477 - I am trying to get a copy of the offer or sale from soxfanz... Were you able to get a copy? The $26,800 price on a 2007 EX-L AWD and otd price of $28,565 is almost too good to be true!!! If you have a copy, can you send it to me?
