Frank Kent is a great dealer to do business with and they will almost always match the quotes from other dealers.

Yeah, that's what I've read. I checked out that board before coming here to get an idea of which dealers to talk to initially. After buying an Accord at Lute Riley a couple of years ago I decided I didn't want to deal with them anymore.

I'm trying to see right now if Frank Kent, McDavid Frisco, and McKinney will match McDavid Irving's offer. I doubt they will ($1000 under invoice) but it's worth a try.

you guys who are haggling over a deal at $1,000 below invoice;

what's the dealer/salesman telling you about factory to dealer cash?
aren't you curious if $2,000 cash back is for real? as a recent post claims?

-if it is, you're leaving a big chunk of cash on the table.

I have not asked about the dealer cash. At $1000 below invoice already I feel pretty good about the deal and don't mind the dealer making a little money.

How did you manage 30 something w/ Nav for you 07 4WD EX-L ? Did the car have any miles on it .. like a demo or something or was on the lot for sometime? If not then you are one heck of a negotiator and should give some pointers . Thnx

Lute Riley is promising to match my best offer for 07 EX-L. Why wouldnt you go back?

Also Frank Kent said they are willing to match .. so how does $30k for EX-L 2WD w/ running boards,backup sensors & crossbar sound? I am not sure they will give this drive out.

Anyone know the $$ for running boards,backup sensors & crossbar?

Check http://www.handaaccessories.com for Honda accessories. You can buy that stuff from them and install it yourself (usually a pretty easy ordeal, and they often include instructions on how to do it) and save about 20% off what the dealer will typically charge.

On there they list the running boards at $438 (retail $574), crossbars at $143 (retail $185), and backup sensors for $535 (retail $682). You can probably do the math on your own to find out what they're charging for the car and the accessories separately.

I wasn't happy with Lute Riley because of how they treated me inside the dealership once we agreed to a price on the Accord (which was a good price). They were very insulting concerning the value of my trade-in and tried to slam me with charges for things I was told were already included in the price I was given. Overall a very frustrating experience and one I refuse to go through again.

I'm looking for a 2WD EX-L w/ NAV. No other accessories as I can purchase those separately and install them myself. The only thing I would consider getting from the dealership is window tint, but I think many dealers will include that in their protection package nowadays.

I have a firmed up price of $30,342 as of now from Frank Kent, McKinney, and McDavid Irving. Frank Kent has been the most responsive and helpful of those three with McKinney coming in a close 2nd.
